If a base is stolen during regulation or extra innings play by any player for either team in the 2007 MLB World Series, Taco Bell® will offer every person in the U.S. the opportunity to obtain one (1) free Crunchy Seasoned Beef Taco (Approximate Retail Value 77¢, prices may vary) at participating Taco Bell® restaurants in the United States on the date designated herein. Eligible consumers can obtain their free Crunchy Seasoned Beef Taco on Tuesday, October 30, 2007 (if base is stolen in Games 1 or 2 on October 24 or October 25, 2007) OR November 6, 2007 (if base is stolen in Games 3-7, October 27, 28, 29, 31, November 1, 2007) ("Redemption Date") only. To obtain the Free Taco, consumers must visit any participating Taco Bell® restaurant in one of the fifty (50) the United States or District of Columbia between 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. (local time) on the Redemption Date only and request a Free Crunchy Seasoned Beef Taco. "The computer"? The Taco Bell here doesn't even have an electronic cash register. They add up purchases by hand with a calculator sitting next to it.

last time i ate taco bell the stupid taco shell splintered off and broke into my gums. I though i was going to have to go to the hospital to get the taco out of my gums. Lucky i was able to pull it out *HUrt like a sob and bleed a good 5 mins)

haven't had taco bell in about 2-3 years
got a bad case of food poisoining, so i don't think i'll ever return lol

I only like soft tacos, not hard, and I only will eat the chicken or steak at Taco Bell, not the beef, so I probably won't participate in this promotion.

anyway sounds good, i remember they used to do retarded promotions during the homerun derby...that if a player hit a taco bell sign theyd give free tacos. but the sign was always 500 feet away.

this is at least very likely to happen

hey, im no vegetarian either (dont even know if i spelled it right)....but i used to be as a kid

i tried to like beef from taco bell, but the truth is, i think its nasty. beans always made it taste better.
 
Make sure you are all at TB between 2-5 on Oct. 30th for the first free taco of this promo. You can thank Jacoby Ellsbury for this.:D

That was freaking hilarious listening to Royce Clayton telling Jacoby Ellsbury in the dugout that if he steals a base everyone in America gets a free taco at TB.

BTW, on my last visit to my local Taco Bell, they were giving out coupons (the first time I have ever seen this). They are for a free medium drink with purchase of taquitos, free bean burrito with any purchase, and a free crunchy beef taco with any purchase. I don't know if this is a YMMV or what.

I just got one yesterday too...
 
This means I'd have to start drinking around noon in order to keep with the tradition of only eatting TB trashed. A sober Bell experience... that's nearly as interesting as the deal itself. Anyone here ever eat at Taco John's? No amount of liquor could make that crap pleasing.

What the hell is wrong with you?;) Taco John's is the best fast food taco (Yes better than the loved Del Taco.) Mmmm Super hot sauce covered taco bravo with potato oles....

Never heard of Taco Johns, but that doesn't sound too appealing, at least to me. It's probably amazing though, stuff that doesn't sound like I'd like it, I end up loving it.
 
I'm not going out of my way for this promotion. If I happen to be out that day and there is a Taco Bell nearby, then I might think about it. I better bring some pepto bismo and a barf bag for after.

I used to be able to eat the beef. It always made me ill. I slowly started eating steak. After a while, the steak started making me sick. Now, I almost exclusively eat chicken.

Something about the "beef" they use makes me feel more nauseated than the chicken. Taco Bell in general makes me nauseous. I only eat there when I feel I've been spending too much money eating out and need something quick.
 
There was another steal in Game 3.. does anyone know if they'll have another promo period, or just one? I did see this :

thats exactly what they are doing. which is retarded because a lot of people will just come in, get that small as taco and still not be satisifed. im sure a lot of people will end up buying more food anyway.

Of course, Taco Bell can't afford handing out 4 tacos to everyone who comes in and what have you.

It's right down the street from me, so I'm just going to grab a free taco and get something else as well.

That's the idea. If they gave enough to make a person full they wouldn't be making any money, and that's not a very smart business decision, is it?
 
The rules stated (1) free taco would be given away to everyone in America on Oct. 30th if a base was stolen in Games 1 or 2.

It went on to state that if a base was also stolen in games 3-7 you could get a free taco on Nov. 6th

It doesn't state "also" though.. it says OR which makes me think one time deal.
