the OP is on fiiiiire 2day, wats with all the quick comebacks :p! ur on a freakin roll!
You aren't kidding............man he had me laughing out loud at work!! :applause:

I would probably say that I have no idea what I would do with this, but Trust would probably have a good reply for that. So, I won't say it...

thanks, i try ;)

sorry i havent been able to make any more quick comebacks....long story short: some guy just called on a blocked # to my house (my mom's house) and told her she won $638,000...but she first has to send him $2,000 to receive it....i was listening to the whole conversation on another phone and im trying to convince her that its a scam, but she won't listen....i woke my asshole stepfather up to try and get him to help me out with keeping my mom from giving away $2,000...but he doesn't think its a scam..............................im so pissed off right now :bomb:

So, how often have you guys had to buy them?

I always found it to be an odd mix of pride (I'm with a woman!) and shame (boy am I whipped :) )

I'm proud to say I have yet to force my boyfriend to purchase any sort of feminine Hygeine product... although I did have him bum some off his sister and bring them to me at work (I called home first, no one answered, my store don't stock em, and I had no money. Last resort, dontcha know.)

Sounds like your parents aren't very informed about scams like this. Maybe you should dig around on the internet and show them some articles about these, or even contact the police and have them explain to your parents that this is indeed a scam. Since you were on the phone and heard this conversation you are technically a party in this and I think you have the right to contact the authorities.

Yeah I get junk emails about these all the time and it pisses me off. It is like one of the #1 scams that get people. I would explain to them how it sounds really fishy that it came up as a blocked number. Also I would have them contact the police as well with the persons information.

On another note thanks for the Tampax, they are great to put ketchup on and throw them at people or hang from the ceiling outside someones dormroom door.

Or to stop up leaks in canoes...
I have a wide set vagina and heavy flow, will these work for me?
o no....the wide set vagina is very tricky....im not sure that these are the right kind of flood blockers you should be using....i'd recommend that you try out a nice thick pad
Maybe if you use several...you know, like those fellas who can smoke hundreds of cigarettes simultaneously.
I thought smoking 2 at once would kill you?
Smoking any at once will kill you...
I meant instantly...
I heard the niccotine overload would rupture your heart.

so i have the information on that guy who keeps trying to scam my mom...i just got back from Best Buy and he's called her like 10 times....every time blocked, except once...i guess he accidentally didn't block it....

the # he wanted her to call, said it was his computer #? 1.876.468.8233
the # showed up from Quebec and the # is 418.948.2029

the contest was the American Sweepstakes Award

he wanted the money shipped to
17 Kennedy Road
Kingston, Jamaica

he said he was in Manhatten, NY

after he realized she wasn't going to send him $1,800....he said fine, $900....which my mother & step-father thought about doing behind my back, even though they promised they wouldn't....he basically is going for whatever he can get at this point and my parents are too stupid to realize it....if she sends him $10, he'd still be happy

he called twice since I've gotten home and I answered both times...

first conversation went something like this:

Me: hello
Him: is susan there?
Me: Who is this?
Him: is susan there?
Me: Hi, I'm her son...what is this in reference to?
Him: Put susan on the phone.
Me: I'm a lawyer (I'm really not, duh) & I understand she has won a prize?
Him: 'click'

second conversation w/ me realizing he probably won't call much more:

Me: hello
Him: let me talk to susan
Me: if this is a real contest, why did you hang up on me?
Him: Give the phone to susan!
Me: IF THIS IS REAL, THEN SEND THE $$$$ING MONEY AND STOP $$$$ING HARASSING US, YOU COCKSUCKING BITCH!!!!!!!
Him: 'click'
Mom in room: 'laughing'

I tried looking up some information on him through the internet without any luck. Any detective help would be appreciated, though I doubt any of his information is accurate....with the exception of maybe his phone # that showed up once on caller id.
Hahahaha.....

However, to be OT... Is any guy actually signing up for this? :whistle2:k
though i know its been around and done....i thought the ketchup idea was cool....though if i wanted to do that, i could easily just grab some from somewhere else without having to wait

I have heard of scams that try and get you to call an island somewhere in the Carribbean, they are "supposed" to be toll free, but are actually akin to 900 numbers. And there, they don't have laws restricting the amount charged and they don't have to state that they are charging you when you call, then you get something like an $18,000 /min. charge on your phone bill once it comes...
Didn't that happen last year though?
one # was always busy and the other # rang until a message from verizon came on saying that i needed either a credit card or assistance from an operator to make the call

Hopefully that means you didn't get charged. Hopefully that means that they were going to try and charge the $18,000 to your credit card. Don't call anymore, is my suggestion. Just try and work on reporting him. Try talking to the equivalent of the State Attorney General in Quebec. I'm not sure what they have in Canada. Try calling Verizon and see if you can talk to a higher up who could help sort things out (Maybe even the VP of PR). And call your own phone company, just to make sure that you weren't charged anything today...

Maybe I should have welcomed him before I killed the n00b...

*shrugs*

Oh well.
done...you still have those ball tasers, right?
Why don't we just hook up a car battery to a bench vice?
but first wait til he receives his free tampon, then jack him for it...
I think it'd be better to clamp him down for 4-8 weeks and then promise to let him go if he gives it us when it arrives... Then of course, we'd take it and slap him for thinking we'd let him go.
