Hey Everybody, Sega is giving away free legit CD Keys for "The Club".

Check it out here:

http://www.sega.com/gamesite/theclub/fullsite/productkey.html

Sometimes it seems the emails come instantly and other times they take awhile. So be patient.

P.S. Grab these while you can.

EDIT:

Instructions on how to use these:

Step 1. Put in your email and get the Key.

Step 2. Go Here and download the game. Remember it is legal, as long as you have one of these CD Keys.

Step 3. Burn the .iso or mount it in Daemon Tools.

Step 4. When it asks you for the CD Key in the install process, put in the key that Sega gave you.

Step 5. ???

Step 6. Profit.
im assuming you have to click on "missing product key' on the main page, is that right?
When I click on the link I posted, it takes me directly to the web page that you enter your email into. I don't know about the front page or anything.
well they emailed me a code already, wtf can i do with it. it wouldnt activate on steam.
Torrents my friend.

Remember everyone, when you buy a game in stores, you are buying the CD Key. It is legal to download a torrent of this, as long as you have one of these CD Keys.

There, I added a guide on what to do in the OP.

EDIT:

I am not sure what the difference is, I have like 10+ Silver ones and 1 regular one.

i was thinking to myself as well when i got my copy that sega was making a huge mistake..

they should mess up their shipments more often :)

I'm thinking the silver key may not come with an Xbox Live trial, whereas the gold key does. This is a "Game for Windows Live" game remember.

I wish they did this for every game ;) Thanks OP, now I just have to decide if I really want to download this game.
I am sorry, What the heck is it and what do you get with it??
"The Club" is a Third Person Shooter from Bizarre Creations. With this CD Key, you get the whole game, legally for free. This game is still $50 in many stores. See my guide in the OP for directions.
So, where do you enter the code?
You have to download the .iso of the game. Its what pirates usually do, but in this case you have a semi-legit CD key in that you had one that was given to you, but under false pretenses.

Feh. Just because we lost our original discs.
thanks OP.

Anyone try this with steam?

I don't use torrents and that would be the easiest way for me.
No, it will NOT work with Steam.

its not that bad of a game at all.. i enjoyed the demo on live....

i almost bought the pc version (because my xbox died and i wanted to get on live) and then this surfaced a few weeks ago

Feels like a step shy from stealing lol. D: But there's achievements! Yay achievements! I can resist no longer. Thanks OP.

This is indeed stealing. When you go and buy a game its not just for the CD key. youre getting the case, CD/DVD, instruction booklet ect.. you get the idea.

Im sure any SMART person would know this isnt Segas intention so your bending this so you can accept that you are stealing.

Edit: Btw i took a CD key myself. : )

Pfft. They said "Enter email get Key" and to me, that key unlocks me playing. How I play is my own business. :O
Remember it is legal, as long as you have one of these CD Keys.
No, it's not.

With this CD Key, you get the whole game, legally for free.

No, you can't! You pay $50 for the CD Key and the game content itself. This is still piracy.

Not only that, but you're linking to a 100% pirated copy of the game. Uncluding a way to circumvent the need for an actual key.

?

I don't think it's ever legal to download copyrighted material (short of an agreement with the copyright holder)... There may be some moral gray areas (i.e. I lost disc 2 of Civilization 4... can I download the torrent of disc 2 without violating my own personal ethical standards? Yes. Can I legally download the torrent of disc 2? No.). Second of all, IMO this is not even a moral gray area, you are clicking a link that is obviously intended for people who have bought the game. It is not Sega's intention to give out free copies of the game. I'm not condemning anyone for doing this, just want to point out to anyone confused that this is absolutely 100% software piracy.

The OP should link to the homepage instead of directly to the product key page so people can clearly see the "Missing a Product Key? Click here for info" link

You see this anyways because you have to give them your D.O.B. to even get to the site. Once DOB is entered it goes to the home page where you can see the "Missing a product key?" Link. It only happens the first time because the rest of the times it just reads your cookies or w/e.
