Digital Life - “The ultimate consumer technology, gaming and entertainment event of the year” will be taking place October 12-15th at the Javits Center in New York City. As you guys know, we discussed attending this event next week, due to Elebits being shown off at Konami’s booth in playable form. There will also be many other video game developers on the show floor, and while they may not be showing off too much in the way of Nintendo, we can still hit them up for information.

The team at Digital Life sent me an email with some great news. For anyone that had the slightest interest in attending the event, you now have some extra motivation. Instead of having to purchase a ticket, you can now get yourself in for free! All you have to do is follow THIS LINK which will take you to an eTicket page. You are asked for a Source Code to continue on. Simply enter the word INSIDER into the text box, click continue, and you will be able to get yourself free tickets!

As you can see, Digital Life isn’t just about gaming, it is really about technological entertainment as a whole. There should be a ton of great things to check out. Basically, just go http://digitallife.com/tickets.html and use INSIDER as your code. It seems MLG will be there so if you wanna see some of the best SSBM and Halo 2 players, it's also a good place to go. You'll be able to try out the Wii too =)

EDIT: Oh wait, I was thinking of Second Life, when I signed up for this. fuck.
 
Are we sure Elebits is playable? It is on Konami's list, but I assume not every game on the list is playable. And why the hell isn't Nintendo there this year?

I don't think the Wii will be demo'd off...
I think the PS3 will be there though, Sony is showcasing.

BTW, is there a discussion thread for Digital Life on CAG?
 
Madden Wii and Elebits were playable; they were okay. The PS3 had Resistance, and I agree with Cheapy that it was meh. The PS3 controller is no better for FPSes than the PS2 pad.

Definitely go to the Toshiba booth. They're doing a "Deal or No Deal" thing, and they give away a 30GB MP3 player and portable DVD player every 15 minutes. You can win a laptop, but the chances are much lower.
