Kraft foods, for whatever reason, is offering "FREE" USB DDR Style Game Pads, but you need to pay $6 in shipping. This is great if you are into DDR stype games because StepMania is prolly the best out there.

No.


It even needs a little soldering to work with StepMania.

The problem is it's mapped as a joystick, with up/down/left/right.

As we all know, you can't push a joystick up and down at the same time. So it won't work for those times when you hit u/d or l/r simultaneously.

You can hack it though so the buttons map to buttons rather than joystick functions.

Basically dumb thinking on the part of the manufacturers.

None, its a USB pad that's setup like a joystick.
