This is another one of those ones where it is random chance whether or not you get the ad on your dashboard.
Yesterday, I got an ad on my dashboard for this free Verizon Avatar Prop. All you have to do is play a "Whack-a-mole" game in the Verizon "fair grounds" sim area. The game won't actually tell you when you have played enough to unlock the hoverboard, so I played till I had about 150 points. Then I went to the prize booth and claimed the prop.
