So Hostel will make about $20 mill this weekend, which is great for low-budget R-rated horror films, and surprisingly, Grandma's Boy flopped despite the resurge in raunchy R-rated comedies.

Saw hostel, its not an utter gore fest like I expected. It actually has a decent plot and some good acting, check it out if your not squismish.

Dont forget...the Real William H. Macy will be on the Simpsons this Sunday. I said the real one, not the imposter.

(I'm sure Judd Nelson will be watching it....;) )

I really thought the previews for Grandma's Boy looked awful, it was like pee pee and poo poo jokes. Hostel on the other hand was awesome it was exactly what I had hoped for.

Grandma's Boy was shown as a preview back in August in front of Deuce Bigalow European Gigalow. That trailer sucked so bad that everyone was just silent after it showed. Then 5 months later it relases a new set of trailers that show probably all the funny moments of the movie. So it was destined to fail from the start!

Grandma's Boy looked stupid anyways. Everyone involved with that film should send a thank you note to Uwe Boll for making their movie look like Happy Gilmore compared to his latest turd on film.

You think Grandma's Boy is a big flop? I had a big flop this morning when I was at the swimming pool.

Hyuk hyuk hyuk hyuk Ha Ha Ha ha Ha!!!

I saw the preview of grandmas boy and saw a young guy in bed with a grandma...I saw enough. Then theres all that shit about videogames...Like its going to attract gamers.

Good news about Bloodrayne, who cares about Grandma's Boy, and I'm kind of fearful/saddened that King Kong isn't doing as well as I'd hope. Then again, it is still early to say, but I mean the studio did give Peter Jackson a big chance with that $200 million budget for a remake and King Kong.

If King Kong was cut down 30-45 minutes, it would be a bigger success. People just don't want sit through three hours plus of something they've already seen twice.

My theater actually received Bloodrayne, but we have not been given permission to show it. Grandma's Boy did especially horrible at the theater that I work in, only around 20 people came to see it all day/night Friday. I was surprised how well Hostel did, I guess you can just put "Quentin Tarantino" on a poster and people will see your movie.

Very glad Hostel did well, such a great movie and was shocked since I really wasn't expecting much going into it. Great plot, good acting, great scene selections, and great camera made the movie one of my favorite horror/thrillers I have seen in a long, long time.

After seeing Hostel on Friday and Grandma's Boy yesterday I can say I totally agree with what everyone's said so far.

Hostel was great, I liked Eli Roth's first movie, Cabin Fever but not a lot of other people did. Hostel was leaps and bounds better than Cabin Fever. The plot was interesting. The gore wasn't too far over the top. Its just an all around great movie.

Grandma's Boy on the other hand was a steaming pile. I'm not going to lie, I did find some parts to be funny and did laugh but after I was done with the movie I just sat there thinking, what did I just see. There is absolutely NO plot whatsoever. I kept waiting for one but it was basically just an hour and a half of attempted pot and video game geek humor. I say attempted because there were a lot of jokes where I just sat there and knew that they were trying to be funny but I just had no desire to laugh at all. Overall I would not suggest anyone see Grandma's Boy.

Or you can just put out an actual horror movie and not the pussyfied pg-13 bullshit they've been churning out the last few years.
Hey MACY are you on a show tonight?
Teh Simpsons, be sure to watch (although since it already aired almost everywhere, it's no use now).

I don't even think the angelic voice of William H. Macy can prevent the Simpsons from sucking.

Grandma's boy is a movie they made cause they though it would make money. They said hey we think the average video game player is 14. So when we were 14 all we did was dick, fart, gay, and tit jokes. Lets make a movie bout. Why not thats a great idea, and the money will just roll in.

I thought Hostel was so, so horrible. I won't get into it for spoiler reasons, but it's the worst movie I've seen in years, and I recently watched Ankle Biters (imdb it!).
