CAGiversary!
friends going to china and has offered to buy me almost anything at all that he can bring back into the states 4 me.

he says that it'll cost me the price that he paid and some extra cash on the side but not a lot.

what are some good items to buy over their to resell over here and make a quick buck?

i was thinking memory stick pro for the psp's and sd cards....... anyone ever do this sort of thing?

if you dont mind bootleg products, give your friend a $100, and he can bring ya back every dvd film, and piece of game software ever made. ;)

relax people its a joke, although China is bootleg central. Dvd films are under $1 there. And most pc games and software are about $3.

Theres soo much bootleg stuff there, it can actually be very hard to impossible to track down a real copy of whatever your looking for.

Just tell him to bring you back some bootleg shit with the craziest english on it. That stuff is always dirt cheap and good for some laughs.

If your interested in rare/strange collectables... theres a Nintendo system that was only released in China, and some other asian countries. I think its called the 'Que' I forget... It was an N64 controller that plugged right into the tv, and played N64 games off of sd cards, or compact flash or something similar. You would go to a kiosk and put your card in and download games for a fee. But I think it will work with N64 roms as well. Either way its an awesome conversation peice for a Nintendo fan.

My friend goes on skate tour there every year and he comes back with, literally, somewhere in the realm of 300 dvds each time (ye, about $1 ea). They are all region, although about 1/20 won't play for whatever reason. DVD's in China come in this slim, ultra cheap packaging. He discards that and the place that he goes to gives him a free carrying case for each 50 dvd's he buys.

Yup. My friend was there over new years, and he picked up 100 dvds for $85. In that same cheapy slimcase with the color printout of the coverart. Even the discs are screened with artwork, so they look semi-legit. My same friend told me he didnt even find anywhere that sold 'real' dvds over there.

Why stop at a wife? Might as well pick up some kids while your there too. Girls only, millions available.

i can download any movie over here or any software or music, what's the point in spending money thier.. also ukraine was cheaper i bought some movies last time i went for .85 cents and games for around 2.50

If you like anime, have him pick you up some bootleg wallcrolls, keychains, plushies, etc. Especially if you're a Naruto fan.

buy books. I wen to a book store and I can get the same book from a Barnes and Noble for about half the price.

Cos getting a film already downloaded and burned onto a disc with screened artwork on it is worth a buck or so. Saves you time, media, harddrive space, etc...

Once you figure in the time spent, the electricty used and disc costs the bootlegs would end up being cheaper anyway.

get yourself some pimp ass jade jewery, the legit stuff cost about 100, but look NICE as hell.

I got my petrified tree charm for bout 10 bucks, and girls stare at it all the time.

Buy one of those crazy '999 in 1' carts. They have about 5 big name titles, dozens of weird, crappy imports, and mostly repeats. But hey, its all about the novelty value.
