Frys.com - Sony 26" LCD HDTV for $799 with free shipping

That's my TV. It's the best 26" available and IIRC, Sony's replacing it with the lower end regular Bravias (so XBR's may no longer be available in 26" sizes.) It's perfect for gaming, doesn't have issues with ghosting or input lag, and it looks a hell of a lot better than pretty much everything out there at this size.

Ditto. I have it too and it is well worth the price.
What exactly is ghosting and lag - does this have to do with response time? Can someone break this down for me?
Ghosting is essentially where movement in the picture creates a trail behind it. So for example, if you're playing Ridge Racer and you see a dark-ish trail that appears after a car moves, that's an example of ghosting. It gets really annoying. Input lag is basically where the TV doesn't respond to the input of controllers immediately. This is most noticable in rhythm games like Guitar Hero since you'll try to play notes, but you'll always be off if there's input lag on the TV.
