I have only had this WII for about 8 months and have not played it in about 6. It is practically brand new in box with all booklets and new wrist strap. I am registered on EBAY and have been for about 8 years and gaurentee that it works and has no scratches or marks. I have 100% positive feedback. I am asking $175.00 shipped. I will throw in a 1 gb sd card for free. Email me if interested - [email protected].

I looked you up on ebay and it looks like you have 8 feedback. I have 8 here and lots more on ebay and other places. I will take the Wii and I use Paypal, but you would have to ship it to me first.
 
WOW the response to this post has been great!! Unfortunatly no I can not ship first. But if it you want I can post it on ebay and you can buy it now for added security. I forgot to mention in the ad that the WII is all adult owned and used and the 1GB mem is brand new in box. Thanks for your interest!!

Look - I have been a user since Jan - I come here to get deals on games, I dont post because I am in the US Navy and I work alot therefor I never have any deals to post so why troll when I have no useful info?. If no one is going to take this deal then fine - Ill post on Ebay no biggy but dont flame my post if you dont have questions or are not interested. I just thouht that id try here first since this site has helped me find some good deals, I didnt know that if a person made 4,000 post that meant you could trust them, maybe I missed that..??? And please stop asking me to ship first because i will not.
 
This remind's me of when I was a member with no feedback. Almost no one will pay you first just because you don't have feedback. They might possibley meet you half way, and pay half then the rest when they get it. Im not sure. A wii at that price is kind of shady. It is ok you don't want to ship first,but you should be willing to oh say someone wanted it with 100 feedback on here. That's just my advice.

My comment earlier was to state that you had been a member for 7 months, and had only made these two posts in this thread. No thanks for any "supposed" deals you may have partaken in, no comments, no nothing. That alone throws up a red flag in terms of trading, let alone your lack of feedback whatsoever.

Obviously, you missed reading the "tradelist guidelines" thread stickied at the top of the forum.

If you had, you would have read this little snippet:


CAG Feedback is the most important safeguard against being scammed in a trade here at CAG. Each trader has their own policies, but in general the CAG with less feedback should send first in any trade. If you are a new (0 FB) trader EXPECT that you'll have to send your item first for your first several trades on this site. ONLY take CAG FB into account when determining if you should pay or send first to another trader. The vast majority of true problems that arise here (thankfully infrequently) occur when someone pays or sends first to a CAG with 0 or very low FB. If you have 0 FB yourself, get your feet wet with an experienced CAG trader. In the end, remember rule #1.


Obviously, you have no intention of safeguarding anyone with this trade, due to your stubborness to not ship first, so go sell it on EBay.
 
why not just agree to ship first to an established trader?
Just find an amount you're comfortable with (25+?)
I've traded with Boss before and he has a ridiculous amount of FB, so he can definately be trusted IMO.

Marten is just looking out for the rest of us. Several cases of people with low-no FB sellers demanding others send first have ended with people getting ripped off. Most people agree that people with lower FB must send to people with higher FB.

:applause: OK "Mr. CAG" thanks for all of your worldy advice and the little snipit. Also thank everyone (seriously) who gave a noob some good input. I will put this up on Ebay with a buy it now. Later.
 
You would make more money on Ebay...and people will have no idea of this thread :)

Just throw it on there...safer for you...and ALOT safer for the CAGs
 
I'll take the risk.

I will let everyone know how it goes. I am a law student, so I do have ways to lean on people if I don't get my items ;)

There is a strong history on these boards of no feedback users being scammers when demanding that users with more feedback ship first.
 
I understand the scammers and flakes trying to get a buck off other people. But like I said before this site has helped me find some good deals so Im glad I could give back. Anyway thanks for all the posts and for everyone who gave me advice. Take care and enjoy the Wii Coldsteel. Later.
