Seriously,
them. They've pissed me off to no end in the last week and a half since I've tried ordering from them with a pre-paid credit card that my parents got me for my birthday. There was some problem with the card, as EB was getting some kind of denied message for my card saying that they shouldn't go through with the transaction. Okay, maybe Key messed something up. I call them they say that same thing and that the money would be back on 8 days afterwards. Which would mean I could try again this Saturday. but their system is down for maintenance so I do it sunday.
On Saturday, when I knew the money was on my card, I ordered a controller from Amazon and there was no problem. On sunday, instead of calling, since I'm tired of calling all these people just to use my damn money, I sent them an e-mail asking them to try it again since I'm assured that the money is on their and that it should work this time. Also, I asked them to change the shipping back to free since I used SAVER codes for both orders.
I get a reply saying that my larger order was selected to ship with 3-day shipping, which it wasn't, so the code couldn't be applied. I have the damn printout saying otherwise. Then I get e-mails saying that there's something wrong with the orders, the same damn things I got the first time they didn't work. So, I just cancelled because I see no ending for this dispute and I decided to get out now.
I just called to check my balance on the card and thankfully they haven't taken money off and held it hostage for another 8 days, which is what happened on the first attempt.
Seriously, do they have some kind of problem with the Possibilities gift cards from Key? I've used my other card that I got for Christmas and BB, BestPrices.com, Gamefly, have had no problems. I've made sure that the billing address is right, and all the other info is correct. If you ask anyone in the OTT, I've been anxious about getting this stuff. So, I'm rightfully pissed that EB seems to not be able to take these cards for payment. So, what could be wrong?
