This sale runs from July 7 to August 17.

Quantities are apparently limited.

It's worth a check. There are plenty of sub-average games listed, but some are pretty good, like Timesplitters: Future Perfect for GCN (which is currently sold out online).

[EDIT: Forgot to mention that PC games are also on sale for 24.99 and under:

Thanks! This wasn't listed in the FS flyers. Is this online only? I went there today (not knowing the deal), but I was able to see what games they had.

...It's too bad the choices for Gamecube sucks #-o . Time Splitters: FP has been at $20 on the FS website and stores now since at least Christmas, so it's not much of a "sale".

Since I can't seem to find the "sort" button to sort games by console, here are the gamecube selection:

X-Men: Legends (GameCube)
The Sims Bustin' Out Player's Choice (GameCube)
The Sims Player's Choice (GameCube)
TimeSplitters: Future Perfect (CameCube)
The Lord Of The Rings: The Return Of The King (GameCube)
The Lord Of The Rings: Two Towers Player's Choice (GameCube)
Spider-Man: The Movie 2 (GameCube)
SSX 3 (GameCube)
Prince Of Persia 2: Warrior Within (GameCube)
Midway Arcade Treasures 2 (GameCube)
NFL Street Player's Choice (GameCube)
One Piece Grand Battle (GameCube)
James Bond 007: Nightfire Player's Choice (GameCube)
Medal Of Honor Frontline Player's Choice (GameCube)
Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban Player's Choice (GameCube)
James Bond 007: Agent Under Fire Player's Choice (GameCube)
Batman Begins (GameCube)

Thanks again!

Ya I saw a lot of those in the bargain bin when I went yesterday. There wasn't really anything worth spending 20 bucks on though...

Thanks for sorting the GCN games, those are pretty much the ones I focus on too. Looking at the list, it's actually not a bad one. Most, if not all of those games, are above average. I guess most of the sub-par games I saw were on the PS2 and Xbox, though they have some good ones too.

So Future Perfect has been 20 since Christmas?? Damn, how could I miss that. I'm picking it up unless I could find it for even cheaper (but still new) somewhere...

And I'm pretty sure the sale is both online and in-store, it doesn't say online exclusive in the e-mail I got.

Ya I saw X-Men Legends' box and I was quite amused by its cell-shaded characters in 3d environment...it looks pretty cool. (Plus it's a pseudo-RPG, and there are only a limited amount of RPG's on the GC)

However, I would probably rather pay an extra $10 to get X-Men Legends II, as the game has better graphics and more characters. It's selling for $30 at both ToysRUs and SuperStore. Right now, if I were to see X-Men Legends II in a discount bin or shelf for $20, I would be extremely tempted to buy it.

Out of that List of games, the two picks I'd recommend (for its value) would be:

1. TimeSplitter: FP - Heard it was one of the best FPS for the GC. Heard it has better single player campaign than TimeSplitters 2, but its multiplayer is not as good. Unfortunately I'm not a fan of FPS.

2. SSX 3 - I have this game already - got it in a BOGO deal because of it's insane reviews (I think 3rd highest avg score on gameranking.com). It's definitely an awesome game for snowboarding fans, and the 30 min race down the whole mountain and the overall freedom/carefree feeling is fantastic. Sick tricks as well. Unfortunately I'm also not much of a racing/snowboarding fan, so this game is only "decent" for me.

As for Prince of Persia: Warrior Within, it's certainly an above average game, but it's sold for $20 in every store I see, so it's not much of a sale. NFL Street sells for $12 at BestBuy.

alright because i was asking two of my friends and they both liked the first one better, i was just planning on getting both, for $19.99 thats a pretty good deal i'd say, do you think i can PM at BB? and then use the GGC =D?

I got PoP:WW already for $19.99+tax, i would get those other 2 games, but i don't like FPS's (Metroid Prime was an exception, cause its a FPA!) and snowboarding isn't my thing
I've been meaning to get X-men legends, you guys think its worth it for $19.99 + tax?
If you can't find it any cheaper, GET IT NOW.

okay so i went and bought x-men legends today (its PC) oh well can't really complain for $22, but anyways i tried it out and its an alright game, just wondering if you have to play through story mode to unlock coop or what?

Hmm, so how exactly did you find X-Men Legends? How was the gameplay? The graphics? Was it fun?

Most importantly, would you recommend X-Men Legends II?

I'm asking since, like I said, I've been looking for a cheap X-Men Legends II for a short while now, and saw the game on ebay for around $18 CAN with shipping, so I'm thinking of getting it.

By the way, if you're interested, there's a CHEAP (around $3.00 right now) new/sealed X-Men Legends II on ebay right now, ending tomorrow. ;)

overall its a fairly decent game, nothing crazy good that blew me away, but if you've got some friends and time to kill its a pretty fair game, some chars have flight (IMO pretty freaking cool ) and you can use certain chars to interact w/ the environment, graphics were alright, pseudo 3d - 2d cel shading, i'd recommend it if you can get it for under $20, I just took a look on ebay, can't find the one you mentioned, if you can post a link it would be much appreciated thanks

Ya the one I was talking about is here:

http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=020&item=300007818186&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1

Unfortunately, while the last time I checked it was at $2.50 US, it somehow got bidded all the way up to $17 :hot: in one day...

Hmm, well I took a shot with X-Men Legends II since it was affordable at $18 (auction already ended..I won  ) ...it should arrive soon since the seller is @ Vancouver, BC ...then I can try it out and give my opinion on it.

I told you buddy, prices skyrocket (hate that) ah well its how things work, at the very least $18 isn't half bad for a game that would cost $29.99+tax over here, so are you hooked on ebay yet ;)?

Hell yes!

I started using eBay just so I could get a cheaper copy of Metroid Prime, but now that I bought the game, I have list of like 12 other things I'm trying to get ;)

So far I got Metroid Prime, FF:CC, and X-Men Legends II...Oh well, 3 down, 9 more to go!

UPDATE!: Just going through eBay and saw X-Men Legends II (Currently at $0.01, with reasonable shipping), and thought you might like to take a look at it. It ends in about 2 1/2 days.

Ya I really need some self-control lolz...especially since my classes finish next week and I'll have the rest of August to go out, play games, and work. I should be getting more money to fund my eBay addiction since I'll be working a lot more after next week XD.

So far the only game that has gotten here is Metroid Prime with Bonus Disc. It came in this yellow (brown?) envelope with bubblewrap inside. Not the best packaging, but it's sufficient for my standards. I'm the the game was SEALED! ...the overall condition is pretty good, I can only see a couple of small "flaws" with the outside case at the moment (haven't unwrapped it).

Right now I'm still waiting for Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles with Strategy Guide, which should be here next week. (Shipped this Monday) I'm really curious as to what packaging that one will come in, since we all know how wide those Nintendo Power strategy guides are :D . Oh ya, and X-Men Legends II.

Oh picky picky  ah well i'm like that too, though i will settle for less, having a job is more of a bad thing when it comes to ebay, since you just spend and spend and spend (gets $100+ in tips a week) i actually don't even need to touch my paycheque, in any case just keep yourself in check, honestly you do not want to go overboard and find yourself in a bit of a debt.
