FYE -- Buy 2 New Games, Get 1 Used Free (with a twist? YMMV)

Was at my local FYE store today and bought a copy of Dragon Age II (they had the Bioware Signature Edition!!!) when the employee told me it was Buy 2 New, Get 1 Used Free.

The twist, however, is that the used game only has to be less expensive than your most expensive new game.

For example, Dragon Age II ($59.99 new) + Battlefield Bad Company ($12.99 new) -- means you can buy any used game under $59.99 (and not under $12.99 as most logic would dictate).

EDIT: Called my store. They said they ended that promo last weekend. Darn.

Cool promo. But it sucks for me since my closest FYE only sells a limited selection of games anymore and they're ALL used games and mostly NEWER stuff at $40-50 EACH.

i got this promo last week top spin 4 59.99 + yoostar 49.99 + dead space 2 used Free + 10% off for being a backstage pass member wound up being $98 + tax total pretty good deal.

Hmm you're lucky then because I work for FYE and we are told that it has to be cheaper than the less expensive new game...
