Fye Coconuts XBOX 360 60 Gb with games 199 after MIr

Kung fu Panda and Indian Jones Lego the same that come with the bundle holiday. coconuts is a store that sells video games, dvd and music owned bye FYE

I got in on the equivalent deal a year ago. The invoice from FYE.com didn't have a date on it and they tried to deny me. But after a couple of emails I got my gift card.

I think this is a repeat of a similar offer from a few weeks ago where the $100 rebate was only on 20 gb models while the 60gb got only a $50 rebate

Clipped from fyerebates using FYE stores as the purchase location and today as the purchase date. While not clear what the exact specs are on the system the rebates apply, the most recent one (value bundle 08-ie, the model for Christmas that comes with packed in games), is only gets a $50 rebate.

Product: XB360-System
Rebate Reward: $100.00 Prepaid Debit Card

Product: XB360-System 0807
Rebate Reward: $100.00 Prepaid Debit Card

Product: XB360-System Val Bdle 07
Rebate Reward: $100.00 Prepaid Debit Card

Product: XB360-Value Bundle 08
Rebate Reward: $50.00 Prepaid Debit Card

I guess what I'm waiting for is confirmation of:

1) Does this apply to FYE stores or just Coconuts?

2) What 60GB bundle this applies to?

FYE and Coconuts are the same store. It's like using a Sears credit card at KMart.

If you look at the third post, he says that it is the Holiday Bundle that includes Kung Fu Panda and LEGO Indiana Jones.

Thanks, I did read that, but must have glossed over it. By the way, when a deal happens at Sears, it doesn't mean they will have the same sale at Kmart or do they? That was serious question and not meant sarcastically.

I called around about this after seeing it on slick deals or fat wallet a few days ago (forget which...I'm in the market for a 360 for my nephew for christmas)...when I finally got ahold of a FYE that both answered and sold video games, i was then told that the $100 rebate was only good for the 20gb

That's still not a bad deal

So would that mean that the $100 MIR is for a 60GB Holiday Bundle or for an old 360 20GB Premium?

Maybe I'll just have to make the trip to see what they're showing in store and report back?

Were they still trying to sell 20GBs at $300, or had they dropped them to $250? Because, $150 for a 20GB 360 would be excellent.

The 20GB 360's were $250 - $100 MIR (and still are if you can find them) and comes with two games supposedly some got it others didn't. The question now is if the 60GB is is $300 - $100 MIR? Some seem to echo this and others don't....
