But the EU is bulking up, and after a decent period of time we get our asses kicked.

Hmm. The EU is a country now? Good to know. I guess I won't need a passport when I cross traditional borders because they are all a "single country" now. :)

The EU uses one currency (with a few exceptions), and it's economy is considered the main opposition to the u.s. economy.

I didn't mean you were a moron, although from some of your other posts I can understand why you would make that assumption. I just think people who "apologize" for the country, people like Michael Moore, are idiots. Don't claim to speak for 300 million people. Also I think it's pretty dumb to call somone stupid for how they voted. Just because someone has different political views than you do does not make them stupid.

Well, I've only been to Bluefield and a couple other places before and it didn't seem that much different. It's got a rep for people being stupid, inbred hicks but it would be unfair to generalize the whole state in that fashion. It's like any other place, there is good and bad.

Nah don't believe all that bad stuff about West "By God" Virginia.
It's not a bad state. You've got places like:
Seneca Rocks - a rock climbing mecca
Spruce Knob - cool alpine flora
Lost River - the river that disappears
New River Gorge Bridge - you can parachute or bungee jump off the world's largest steel span and the second highest bridge in the United States.
Harper's Ferry - restored old town where Rob't E. Lee and J.E.B. Stuart captured John Brown.
Cheers - great bar in Charleston (don't know if it's still there or not)

Then you have great native brook trout fishing, virgin forest and....ah...oh yeah... the ticks, a lot of copperheads, and a lot, and I do mean a lot of people with blond hair and blue eyes that look amazingly alike on the homely side. :shock:

Yes, they are the real thing. Filthy and violent inbred scumbags.

They stay away from the cities, but if you go to West Virginia I would advise you to stick with the major cities.
