Game Boy Micro (Famicom Version) $59.99 at Play-Asia - Weekly Special

Picked mine up from Wal-Mart for $50.00. The last time I checked they were out of the Famicom version. But, the black and silver ones were still $50.00. May be worth checking your local WallyWorld first.

If you have a sears store that still has them, they would probably be a lot cheaper... I got mine last year for about $35 I think

xrayzwei- no they don't. There was somebody on CAG making cables that I have, he made me some though.. don't know if he still is doing it. The ones I have work great
Does the micro work with GC connectivity games (Crystal Chronicles, Pac-Man Vs.)?
Yes it does, but you will need a different GBM-GCN cable which you can find at store.nintendo.com (at least you could last time I checked).

I was never able to find this version for cheap at my local stores. I'll have to think about this one, plus this is the Japanese one which has the extra Mario 20th anniversary printing on the back...

Nope, the cables there will not allow a GBM->GCN connection.

I still make link cables for these since Nintendo never did.

Great, if I pick one of these up I might hit you up for one of those cables. I still need a fourth GBA for four swords and FFCC.

This is a nice deal. I would like to point out that this is the Japanese Famicom GB Micro, which I think is nicer than the US model that everyone is mentioning about getting. The Jap. one has some etching on the back with Mario and the packaging is a little nicer.

You can still order the famicom face plate from nintendo for 4.95. It looks pretty good with the silver micro, but probably would look better with the black.

I have seen the US famicom edition at a couple of gamestops around me. I think it is still 69.99 even though the regular version has been 39.99 for months. I have yet to pay over a dollar for accessories for the micro. If you can find them they are dirt cheap.
