Game Elements Console to VGA Adapter PS2 Xbox & GameCube?

Has anyone tried this thing?

It says it only supports 640x480 with a standard analog PC monitor, but I have a LCD monitor and it cannot go that low of a resolution.

Or is there something better out there where I can hook up an xbox to display on a LCD monitor?
