Game of Thrones Toys R Us $39.99 XBOX/PS3 Free Ship

Man... I wish Amazon would PM this price on their "art book bundle" version. Sucks that the only two retailers that got the art book are the only two that don't actively price match (Gamestop and Amazon).

From the reviews, the combat is more "Knights of the Old Republic" style then "Mass Effect" which I can totally support. Also, I've heard the story is by far the best part of this game, which makes a very surprising and engaging turn towards the end. It's kind of a bummer that the developers weren't able to polish the mechanics a little better.

I'll definitely check this out when it hits sub $15, Thanks for the post OP.

I was going to comment on that. Definitely check the reviews on this one. I had a feeling that it wasn't going to be particularly good.
Altus really needs to push a demo out for this game.
You really wish them to push a turd out of a bigger turd?! Now this I do say is crazy talk! As someone who is a fan of the series it pains me to see such drivel.

Looks like gamestop might have another Atlus game for their seasonal gutting sales.

Got it from Gamefly. The voice acting is terrible and the sound effects during combat are severely lacking (a lot of swinging but not a lot of clanging). Other than that it plays very much like the first Dragon Age. I'd recommend it to fans of the show or books at

Once they added the artbook preorder bonus I got the feeling this game might be a second rate title. I still plan to buy sub 15. have a feeling newegg will have it at that price later this summer/fall.

Well I want to play it for myself to see if it is a "turd" as you say...

Edit: note that I do not watch the show or read the books, I just enjoy RPGs of this genre. I'm probably better off with Dragons Dogma...

Please do get Dragons Dogma I'd say your money would be well spent there even though reviews aren't out yet it looks like the better of the two games.
I heard this game is about as good as a Sansa chapter which to me is as big a diss as possible.
I laughed out loud when I saw that comment. I think that was the IGN review wasn't it?

My friend's GF was hyping the hell out of this game until she preordered Dragon's Dogma. Guess I'll be in the sub 15 crowd too.

I paid $60 for the game along with the art book, and I don't regret it one bit. The graphics maybe outdated with cheesy voice acting (NPCs only, the main characters voice acting are superb), I am really enjoying the game. It has the "Dragon Age" vibe to it. I am at chapter 2, and the story is pretty good so far.
