Game Stop Return Policy

Anyone here know what GS's return policy is? I traded for Way of the Samurai 2 last week - they had $35 on it. Well of course I found one at Compusa new for $14 so got that one today. It hasn't been a week yet even - no way do I want them to only give me the usual $8-10 trade value on something I paid them $35 for but I can't in good faith tell them it doesn't work. Will run it by there this weekend to try to return it for something else.

Just tell them you were getting it for a friend's birthday yesterday but you found out he already had it. If you bring the sealed copy with the receipt you should have no problems returning it. I think they have a 30 day return period.

Last I checked it was 7 days on used games, they'll give you credit for the trade in amount and return whatever you paid over that...

Yea, you have 7 days to just return it for whatever tender you used to buy it if you don't like it.

Cool thanks. I'll check online and see which store has what game I want and take it there with the receipt for a return.
