Honestly, I have 2 Card 59s that I got for about $3 each that I have no problem with. If you play a lot of cube games, though, this would be a decent size problem. I'd concur with the last two posters, though, and say that the 1019 is a nice card.

if you can't afford the extra ten dollars, the 251 isn't terrible either[/quote]
Unless you plan on playing any sports games, in which case you'd really need TWO 251's, or at least a 251 and a 59. 1019 is the way to go, especially since it is the equivalent of ~four 251's for $10 more.
ill get my 1019 when money falls outta the magican money tree i remember i got one of my memory card in one of those bundle packs.. and it works fine along with a 251 but i trust most of my games on the offical 251.. just get the 1019 and thats good enough
Like everyone said get the 1019. I have had nothing but trouble with 3rd party cards on multiple systems and decided starting with PS2 in 2000, I was only going to buy official cards.
Actually I got an Interact 8mb card a LONG time ago (only after some serious research) and it has yet to corrupt any data. It has (quite surprisingly) been very very reliable. I've had it for at least a year, probably closer to two. I don't know if thet still sell it , but heres a review link for your comfort.
Or you could do what I did and slowly accumulate a ton of cards... now I have 2 251s, 5 59s, and 1 3rd party card. I would buy a 1019 but my current set has 200+ blocks free.
