GameFly 30 Day Trial or 15 Day Trial plus $10 of Papa Jonh's Pizza

The one time I did a gamefly trial, I returned the game really early (like 1 week before the trial was up) and they held it until a day after, then charged me for a month. Not sure if this is common..

Do I really need to point out it's dishonest at best to sign up just for the pizza? It's a great service, well worth the money if you play a lot of games.
 
This is fantastic! I've been wanting to try them, but didn't like the 8-day trial or whatever they normally offer. I actually posted a gameznflix code for a monthh free, but I haven't even gotten a game from them and I'm already dissatisfied with their program.
 
I wonder what this GOLD CARD THING IS. I wonder if its something on the new monopoly game coming next month or is this a stand alone promo.

I would love to see gamefly start giving away free 30 day codes again with the mcdonalds game.

last time they did it was Fall 2004 and i ended up with 22 free months : )

BTW if anyone else wanted to know, you can downgrade to the 1 game out per month plan after the trial (according to their customer service).
 
Wow - I signed up this morning and they claim to have shipped my first three games before noon. I might actually pay for this for extra months if the whole month goes this well.

I dont see how thats dishonest at all.
Care to explain to me how it is?
Gamefly made this deal damn well knowing alot of people are going to do that.
They are just hoping that a few people will actually like the service and stay.
That or they hope some people will forget or get too lazy to cancel and get stuck will 1+ month of payment.
Thats one of the Basic ways of marketing, drawing in customer by offering free or discounted crap.
They got what they were after, getting alot of new people to sign up even if many of them will cancel before the trial ends.
And Papa johns get some customers too, hell i wasent even thinking of eating there until now.
Its a WIN-WIN for them.
This is no different from 5$ off for new customer or Google Checkout.
Hell next time im at Costco and one of those ladies try to give me a little cookie sample im gonna slap her and say "NO!, I don't want to be dishonest"

You're right, it's only two. I'm just an idiot. I'm trying out too many rental services to keep them straight right now.
 
Nice find, usually I'm wary of trials, but this is a great way for me to get bioshock, play it, beat it, all for free. Rather than spending 60 bucks on a game and trading it in 2 weeks later for 25

I recommend people return their games WELL before 30 days, I'm gonna return everything after the 20th or 21st and then cancel the 25th so they dont try to screw me...which they would

I wish someone posted this years rules if they are out there. I want to start addressing envelopes but don't want to if BB or any other great offer isn't involved.
 
I just did a quick Google. McD's Gold Card is an employee benefit. The site doesn't seem to be offering it for me. It says I qualify but when I go to sign up it just shows the usual 14 day trial. Anyone else notice this? Scratch that last bit. I had cookies blocked.

over on fatwallet the only info is the contest will start around OCT 2 or 3

says info will be on mcdonalds webpage OCT 2 Seems sort of werid cause years before the info was up on the webpage at least a week before the contest started

Thanks a ton, OP! Last night before I came over here I was depressed because GNF wasn't sending me crap and I am broke this month. I was really wanting to play Bioshock and Madden but knew there was no way I was getting them from GNF. I signed up for this last night and got confirmation this morning that Madden and Bioshock are on the way. Awesome!
