I really want to get some used games but with Gamefly's store I would have to pay $3 shipping for each individual game I buy. And that kinda kills the deals.

On their site, they have it so that it's $8.95 for the first month. Could I just sign up, buy all my games within that first month and then cancel? Is there a minimum that I have to keep it for? And how hard is it to cancel?

Go to your local grocery store or Super Wal-mart. I was shopping for cereal the other day and saw a "free game rentals!" on one box. Turns out you buy the cereal for about $3, and you get a free month of Gamefly.

Sorry, I don't remember which cereal it was, but if it helps any, I think it might have been a Kellogg's one, possibly a gold or yellow box :) it was in the middle of the aisle.

(the above statement is why I haven't actually posted a deal on it, I don't remember much about it).

Oh, and yes: no company requires you to stay past the introductory period unless it very specifically mentions a minimum timeframe required for said intro offer. Even Gevalia lets you cancel right away, you just have to physically call them, there's no cancel option on their website whatsoever. Companies can be trixie, but usually not binding.

I actually just did this, sort of. There is no minimum membership period and it is very easy to cancel (can do it in about a minute online). If you are going to buy 3 games or more it should save you some money.
