Gamerush Coupon Book Coming Next Month

I was talkn to the local GR manager and he said that they will be having a midnight release party on Nov. 9th for Halo from 12-2 am. He was showing me the calender guide and it said that they will be giving away coupon books with $200 worth of savings and they are only supposed to be giving away during the Halo release party. In addition they are going to have some other promos going on during the release party, i dont remember what they were but i'll check back and see. But if anyone else knows you might as well list'em here.

My gamerush is right down the street from me with my halo 2:SE preorder. Hopefuly they willl have some good deals!
 
...i didnt even realise the 9th was a tuesday. Great a midnight release party, and ive got to get up early for work on WED for new comics day...

Im gonna be one tired/grouchy/antsy comic book guy that day
 
Too bad I don't have a Gamerush near me...but I will be heading out at midnight to pick up my Halo 2.
 
for me this is all perfect...i work till 11:16 on tuesdays then i can just drive home and get there about 10 mins before midnightt :p
 
My gamerush is holding a mortal kombat tournament. I ownder if they will have coupons?????
 
vanlad...wouldn't it technically be MOnday night/Tuesday morning when it is released. Since it comes out on Tuesday, they would release it at Midnight of Monday (which is technically tuesday...following me)

I highly doubt there will be that many people at mine....it seems like there is never anyone in there when I go. I'll just pick it up Tuesday afternoon or after work.
 
Are only GameRushes holding these Halo 2 release parties? I'd like to head to my Gamestop and pick it up that night if they're doing it. Any news?
 
All of the EBs are doing a midnight release; no coupon book that I know of, but they still have that trade-in deal (5 games worth $50 as long as they're not on the exclusion list)

Yeah, you are correct...but i work the same hours so no biggie!

My GR maybe busy. Next time I go in there I'll ask one of the employees how many halo2 pre-orders they have taken. I just have to make sure I'm going to get the SE...other then that the coupon book will be a bonus
 
...lol...yeah, im apparently going to take tuesday off that week :) WED i'll still be damn tired from playinh Halo2 into the wee hours of the night.

I doubt my parents will take me to this at midnight, so I probally won't be able to get this even though I have the LE preordered at GameRush. :D I would have loved to talk to fellow Halo nerds in nerds, but I guess it will never happen :cry:
