Games on Demand

is there a thread that i'm not seeing regarding games on demand? i know to know which ones are fully compatible with the retail versions. i remember a story about Rainbow 6 or some Tom Clancy game not being compatible with it's physical counterpart and since i'm gonna be dealing with the no refund nazis, i'd like to know in advance which titles are compatible so i don't end up wasting money. in the marketplace, it will tell you that NONE of the games even have online support which is obviously not true since i have a friend that plays gears of war on demand online all the time.

games on demand are the same thing as an installed version of the game, only difference being you don't need a disc in the tray and have to pay insane prices for a downloaded game.
