Gamestop B2G1 and 2 $5.99 for $10 (can be combined) (YMMV?)

Not sure if this is chain-wide, but this weekend saw in Gamestop two deals, and they let me combine them. They were selling two $5.99 (or less) used DVDs for $10, and also you could buy 2 and get 1 free. Combined, you can then get 3 $5.99 DVDs or less for $3.33 apiece. Went ahead and picked up 6 Thomas the Tank Engine DVDs for my 3-year-old nephew for $20, not bad at all. I don't know what the selection is like in your local store, but they had a good variety, maybe 60+ different DVDs that were included in the sale. The B2G1 is also good on higher-priced DVDs, but no discount on those without the membership card.

It did stop at my local Gamestop. Only deal still going on is the trade 3 get an extra $10.

They were combinable, I thought someone had already posted this? maybe i'm going crazy. people at my store really went nuts with this, went from 7 rows of dvds to 2 just during that sale. O.O

I saw a sign advertising the 2 DVD's for 10 bucks, they did have some decent deals. (the B2G1 sale was off at my store) I picked up The Ring and Once Upon a Time in Mexico. I passed on:

X2
Hollywood Homicide
Minority Report
Austin Powers Goldmember
Matrix
Matrix Reloaded
Master and Commander (great flick BTW)
Daredevil 2 disc

+about 50-75 others, a decent selection, but don't expect the newest releases in there.


On a side note I picked up The Village and Fight Club for 10 bucks at a local pawn shop, for those of you unaware you can get great deals from some of them.
