GameStop - Boston giving 100% trade in bonus

Hmmm, this was posted earlier, like 2 days ago. Don't know what happened to that thread.

BTW, called today, and they greet you by saying that they have double TIV

I live in Marlboro, but I think it's worth the trip as long as they dont have lower TIV than the rest of the stores.  Also I dont know what the parking situation is like.  Boston sucks for parking...

 
Not sure why the other thread is gone.

Be ready to park at least ten minutes away. I've had luck parking near Chinatown on Avenue de lafayette.

 
I've been there 5 times since Tuesday to trade everything imaginable. If they're still running it, I'll be back there tomorrow.  Suck it up and walk. It's worth it

I was in the area so I popped my head in to ask. Was going to trade in some stuff on Monday if the bonus was still active.

Someone else might have better luck.

I was planning on going tomorrow. I'd hate to go all the way there for nothing. I will have to give them a call before I go.

 
Wow. What a clusterfuck that place was.  There was some type of concert or event happening in the area so there were people all in the street. Took me forever to even find a spot to park, but it was worth it.  I traded Xcom, BF3, a PS3 and 360 controller and some other junk accessories and walked away with almost $130 in credit.  Not bad at all.  

I asked the guy how long the promo would last and he said "until CEX goes out of business".  CEX is the electronics store next door to them and I guess they is a big rivalry between them.  This 100% bonus credit promo is only because they want to hurt CEX's business.  If this is true, then this promo could last quite awhile.

The last time I went there, the person said that they had a manager come over and let this promo happen, didn't hear anything about CEX, but it makes sense. Their TIVs are much better than GS usually.

I also just got my B2G1 and 50% bonus TIV coupons from PUR Pro, so I might just buy three games and flip them right back.

 
CEX's trade in values suck, but they do pay better for cash and they take lots of other things besides games. At best this will hurt their game trade ins but not much else.

 
So, it seems like this particular Gamestop doesn't follow the national trade-in bonuses. I called today and they said 50% for Games/Accessories and 30% for Systems/iDevices.
