Gamestop.com has 25% off pre-owned games/dvds today

I'd rather use EDGE and CAG15 at EB and guarentee myself a case and manual for GC/XB/PS2 games.

But this might be good for some people who don't like EB or don't have an EDGE card. Good post OP.

Blah, I was going to post this a couple hours ago when I saw it, but I was just too pissed off NOTHING I wanted was in-stock. The only thing I was even remotely interested in was Shadow Hearts, and to me it is not worth $20 for the chance at only getting a disc.

Gamestop's site is wretched. I can only pray they dump it & use EB's format when the time comes.

I tried my best to find something decent, but I gave up in frustration.

Yeah, I tried looking through the site and shipping would basically kill any deal. EB's CAG15, SAVER & Edge card combo discount beat any deal you could get from Gamestop.

Only time it's worth shopping at GS is when they have their B2G1 deal with preowned games.

Use FREESHIPALL unless it no longer works, I haven't ordered from them in a while.

How does $2 shipping kill a deal? I would also like it noted that the $2 shipping through Gamestop that I always use has resulted in the longest delivery time being three business days (normally two though), and I have placed 17 orders from GameStop in the last year. Fast, cheap shipping should never kill a deal. And every once in a while Gamestop runs a buy 1 preowned over $30 get 1 preowned under $30 free. Absolutely the best deal around, and EB has nothing on it.

I hope they stay away from EB's train wreck of a website... getting rid of the games pages when they go OOS is the dumbest thing possible, imo. It makes searching local stores for hard to find games impossible, since you can't use the store locator since they pull the whoel page.

After looking around for awhile I'm realizing that anything that isnt backordered (which is almost every preowned game worhtwhile) is way overpriced compared to ebgames.com. Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for example is $9.99 at EB and $34.99 at Gamestop.

gamestop.com is still good for certain games.. I got Suikoden I for $27.99 at gamestop.com. At ebgames it's $39.99. My copy was in excellent condition, also.
