gamestop.com used games now "Guaranteed" complete?

Haha, that's pretty funny.

I guess they forgot they must've completely missed that when they were switching over the site, and it probably resurfaced when they switched it to the new layout.

Of course we all know it's a complete lie, and I'm almost positive it's a mistake since I just ordered something not too long ago and it came incomplete.
They've always been guaranteed to work. If it didn't work then you can exchange/return it.
He was actually referring to when you click on the link word "Guarantee", which he kind of mentioned in the op, it pops up a small description that says it will also include original case and manual.
anyone ordered anything recently from the ps2 section?
No, but I'm tempted to now...always wanted Frequency and Amplitude to round out my Harmonix music game collection.

Certain games(RE 4 and some Ben 10 game thus far that I've seen)on the PS2 section don't seem to have that 'guaranteed to work' thing under their listings. So it might be only for games they have massive quantities of that they can pick through to get the best and most complete copies of for people.

They're probably guaranteed complete because they're gutting them so much harder in stores now.

I know I've complained about this countless times, but for the better part of a year now I've had to make sure they're not switching the cases and innards I pick out in the back when they go to "get the disc" that for whatever reason is not in the drawer right under the register any more.

Useless ranting:
Bought two games at two different stores yesterday. First one had the manual and three DLC codes. I watched him the entire time and the manager there is super-cool, so even though he switched it out, he switched it with a good copy and made sure I got everything out of it. Went to the other store, picked up a game with the manual and a map in it. Gave it to the guy and started looking at the new display of XBLA codes. Guy wrapped and folded it up in the bag and handed it to me. I took one step outside the door and realized he had given me a black case, no manual and a photocopied insert. I handed it back and basically said "nice try" and he didn't seem too thrilled to get caught. I e-mailed them about it a while ago and told them how shady it is, and the manager called me personally, shook my hand and said thanks for writing but this is how it is, then asked me if I needed to buy anything.

Anyway, I bet it's partly so they have them on-hand when people come in to bitch that their internet copies came incomplete. It seems to me like the easiest way to avoid these situations is by being like every other trader in the world and not accepting and reselling incomplete and damaged games, but, hey, I'm no businessman.
