Didn't see anyone asking a similar question so hopefully this isn't a repeat but I'm having a little bit of an issue with the Power Up Rewards and don't know if anyone else has encountered similar. So about a week ago I was trading in some 360's to get a PS3 and the guy gives me the spiel on the card. I'm only getting like $5 extra credit so that wasn't worth it by itself, until he pulls a flyer off the stack on top of the counter and hands it to me. He shows me the two coupons on it that I'll get when I register the card and one of them is a buy 1 get 1 free on used games and the others a 50% trade bonus coupon. I figure OK, I really don't have anything else to trade but I can get the value out of that $15 in the B1G1 coupon.

Well several days pass and no coupons show up in my account until yesterday... and it's a B2G1 coupon. Now that doesn't seem quite right to me when the explicit reason I had opted to pay for this was that coupon. Has anyone else had this issue? Is this something that I might be able to go in and get the manager to work with me on or should I just go straight to harassing corporate? I still have the flyer too but I'm not sure which route to take here, just want what was promised to me in writing when I put my money down.

i saw some posters mentioned in the gamestop powerup rewards thread, the b1g1 coupon info was a mistake/typo. I am not 100% certain tho.

i remember reading that the flyer was a misprint and i was supposed to be b2g1 so i'm not sure if theres anything you can do

I guessing you didn't get the 50% trade in coupon too. Below is information on contacting the powerup rewards customer support. Maybe you could end up getting a gift card or something. This deal would also probably fall under False Advertising.

I had a different issue with Power Up Rewards. Got a promo item from cashing in my points, but the poster came slightly damaged. Going to go to Gamestop later and kick a rack of magazines over or something.

Don't forget the glitter.

That was a type-o. A corrected version was posted the next day. You can still email and see what they can do.

Also, email about the damaged poster. They may be able to help with that as well.
