Gamestop price matches now?

This would have helped with the GameCrazy pricing errors in their advertisement. Could have scored some nice games!

I know they used to price match EB, but not sure about everyone else. At least that's what they told me a few years ago when I had an ad for EB for a PSX game for $9.99

GameStop does pricematch EB in malls. I just had them pricematch this past Sunday. When I asked them if they pricematched, they replied "Only with Electronics Boutique".

They do pricematch but you have to ask for it and have to have the ad in hand. I know someone who works there and he said that it was just brought back and it won't be announced. I got them to PM Media Play on God of War for 39.99 last week.

Last time I tried to, the manager told me they price match "small differences;" during the Ghost Recon 2 for $20 sale at KMart, I went to GameStop and asked them to price match it. He asked how much of a difference it would be (referring to the $50 price tag they had it at, and the $20 price tag KMart was advertising for) and then basically laughed in my face. I guess if they bring it back, that's great. I'd prefer to do it at a place like Sears or Circuit City that gives you the cheaper price, plus an additional percentage off...
No gamestop near me does.
me either i always argue with them whenever i try to, and one time i told him how gay he was and he threw me out of the store for not shutting my mouth going off on them

yes, Gamestop does, has to be the exact same item and the ad in print, but basically, it's a ymmv. for example, anyone who goes into an establisment arguing and calling employees homosexuals in the hopes that they'll suddendly 'see the light' and discount an item would probably get pricematched a swift kick in the third nut here. other then that, you shouldn't have a problem. ;)

Ok, my closest Gamestop (Hollywood, CA on Sunset near OSH) pricematched Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory (Xbox) for me today.

I brought in my Fry's ad, they cut it out, and BAM, Splinter Cell was mine for $36.99.

Gamestop has my business now. EB's been dicking me on gift vouchers; so long, suckers.

Yeah I remeber way back when Metal Gear for xbox came out, a couple of weeks later it dropped to 19.99 at EB. I grab their last copy and went to Gamestop in the same mall to get another copy and they guy told me they would pricematch EB with a reciept. I showed him and he said he would take to much of a loss on it so he wouldn't do it. I argued with him saying then what is the point of having a price match policy, but I didn't win. lol
