Hey,

I pre-ordered God of War 3 while there was a Gaming Guarantee for it advertised on their website. Gaming guarantees are NO LONGER advertised on their website at all, and I have been given no instructions on how to return the game within the 7 days, seeing as how I ordered it online. Can I return it to any store? Do I have to go through some crazy process with their online support? I feel like I'm going to get totally shafted on this.

Any help and prior experience would be amazing... thanks :)

EB/Gamestop stores are able to take returns on products ordered from the website. Having said that, isn't it technically just the TIV that's bumped up rather than doing a return? If you can prove you preordered online with an invoice or something, I'm sure you'll be fine.

I think he means it's just not advertised on the website anymore. They used to have a special section that showed you the current gaming guarantee game and explained how the program works. They still have them in store (darksiders and then god of war III). They most likely will have another one around the release of god of war III.

The game must be preordered. You can return it within 1 week (some places say 1 week from launch date, others say from day of pickup, ymmv) for the value of the game in edge credit. Think of it as a free week rental. Also, since you have to preorder it, you will get any preorder bonuses to keep.
