Gas prices

Only 1.70 here, but I drive about 100 miles each day to get to work and back so it really sucks.

Maybe I should throw in there that I buy regular.

And I drive a 40 mile, in town paper route.
With no gas compensation.
Seven days a week.

What paycheck?

I was just out there in Cali, and gas prices sucked! Cheapest ws $1.98 up to like $2.50. I topped off in San Diego on m way back from Tijuana. $1.80 here in WI.

Here in Hercules, Bay Area CA where gas is gouged to death:

$2.25
$2.40
$2.50

So all the people complaining about your $2.00-, be happy.

Ha Ha ha the redneck capital of the worl has the cheapest gas. I guess living with a buch of people with no teeth and who smell does have an advantage. We are only 1.52 here in GA

Hmm...I think it's around $1.80 at most gas stations here.

I'm glad that I don't have a license yet...gas is one less thing I have to worry about paying for. :D

My friend just moved to los angeles, and he hates riding the bus... he's gonna have to learn to love it with those prices and no job.

I lived in La ...Glad we moved to Ga. Except the pollen here sucks! Everything is yellow and everyone is sick with watery eyes ans sore throuhts and the cold!

its 2.15 here in my part of LA. Spend more on gas than anything since you have to drive everywhere here.

it's $1.72 at the gas station on the corner, but i thought i saw it for under $1.70 on the way home from work today.

i want to know is where my water-powered hovercraft is. it's 2004 and we don't have teleporters, we don't have hovercars, and we don't have cities that go up miles into the sky. instead, we're paying more than ever for gas for our very non-hovering cars.

screw you, hanna barbara.
We pay $1.79 from Cincinnati, OH all the way to Lima, OH. Cheapest price all the way up I-75 is $1.76!!!
It stays that way all the way up to Michigan's UP.

this is the reason im dreading getting a car. i can barely afford anything right now, an additional 1.87 a per gallon. cant buy games with a budget like that

$1.82 for 87 octane in Binghamton, NY. By looking at the other prices I have no reason to complain.

To think just two years ago I was getting gas for $1.14 at the exact same locale.

about 2 months ago I was paying .50 cents less a gallon that I am now(not really paying anything as I do not have a car since I got into an accident about a month ago)

Filled up this morning for 2.23 for regular :p By LAX where I work you can automatically add 20 cents cause tourists don't have a choice. Glad I drive a civic. 33 miles to the gallon my friends. Time to be earth friendly and get yourselves a hybird!

Heh. I can't afford buying games on my budget but that doesn't stop me. :)

Recent purchases:

Rygar (PS2) $10
Silent Hill (PS1) $13
Perfect Dark (N64) $4
Shipping for SH/PD $7 -- ouch

At least I pays da bills.

Trenton NJ

$1.55 for gas/water mixture from the no-name stations
$1.61-69 for brand name (Texaco, Hess, Mobil)
$1.65.79 for brand name by major highways

All regular.... and I rember paying 68 cents a gallon back in 96-97ish.....

we don't need hybrids, we all need solar cars, and then say SCREW OPEC!

Positive aspect of gas hike:

People have stopped bugging my wife and I about our tendency to buy small cars. Texans in SUVs - 0. Displaced Yankee Yuppies Coupe Drivers - 1.
water/gas? For some reason that sounds bad for a car...
That's because it would be... the cheap stations in my neck of the woods have been busted on multiple occasions for mixing water into the gas, along with adjusting the pumps so it's actually shorting you, and selling regular as super.... gotta love the sleazy owners.
