GBA Wireless Adapter for $4.99, B2G1 used games at Hastings YMMV

Hastings had a big lot of these (about 20 or so) on clearance for $4.99. I know they're pretty useless unless your friends also have one... but for this price, you can buy two or more for wireless linkups, and you don't need to worry about friends having them or not!

I bought two just to see if I can somehow link my GBA to my GBA Player wirelessly. It probably won't work, but for the price, I can experiment a little. IIRC, these retailed originally for $29.99 or came free with some Pokemon game.

Also, all used games were buy 2 get 1 for .01. I snagged Blackhawk Down, Ninja Gaiden, and Panzer Dragoon Orta.

Yep, official brand. They were hidden in the back with a bunch of crappy OCC figurines and cassette tapes.
 
I was a Hastings last week, Trying desperately to make use of the buy 2 get 1 free deal. But their pricing on games is SOOO miserable, that I couldnt find 3 games I could justify buying, even for free.

They sell Eternal Darkness New for 44.99, same as Skygunner. Or something to that effect.
 
I really think Hastings is hit or miss with the used games. Their pricing isn't consistent, even within the same title. I've had some GREAT finds there (Bust a Move 3000 GC $4.99), and some subpar pricing as well. You just have to get lucky I think.
 
Still pisses me off that we waited all this time for a GBA wireless link, and all we got is one that only works with games that are specifically programmed to use it.
 
But it does work with a GBA Player and GBA, if the OP was wondering. Supposedly anyway, since I bought two of the lousy things on clearance at Wal-Mart a few months ago at $10 a piece and realized later that they only work with certain games. Now that we both got DS's for Christmas those need to go back.
