Genji Days of the Blade for PS3 $29.97 @ Costco.com

Nice find for a cheap PS3 launch title, but I'm pretty sure that this is to pricey for this piece of crap title. Haven't played Genji on the PS3, but I have for the PS2 and it is sad that the last gen title is superior. FTW SONY...FTW!

Don't forget that non-members pay an extra 5% which equals an extra $6. After shipping and tax, this doesn't really feel like a deal anymore. Thanks anyway, OP.

Genji on PS3 is not a bad game...it has gorgeous graphics and pretty fun hack n slash arcade action. The one thing that really brings it down a few notches is the camera. Just horrible...and fixed - so you can't do anything to adjust it.

There's not much on PS3 so if you are a Costco member you could do worse. Also, remember that Costco has a stellar return policy so if you have a local Costco nearby and you absolutely hate the game - you *can* return it.

I bought my PS3 at Costco before March 19, 2007 (when they removed their lifetime warranty on all purchases, now it's mfr warranty plus 2 years) and it came with Genji. So I'm stuck with it.

I would suggest buying the Japanese version instead as it's not censored.

5% is only $1.50

$6 would be 20%
Thanks OP, but I'm waiting for a sub-$10 price before I even touch this one.
Agreed. For this and say, Gundam, the magic price would have to be $10 or less.

Gundam was actually WAY better than this game, if you can believe that! Such a shame given how great this game looks--literally one of the worst games I've ever played in my life!
Sorry, I have math dyslexia.
Dislexia means you read from right to left instead of left to right...

OUCH. I haven't played either, just heard the reviews. I like giant robots (who doesn't), so I tend to pick up all of the Armored Core/Mechassault/Gundam games on the REAL cheap, since most of them aren't spectacular games but enjoyable enough.

In what way was it censored?

that bad? what was so wrong with it?

Math dyslexia = dyscalculia.

And you spelled dyslexia wrong...

This game is not *that* bad guys...download the demo. Try it out.

Sure, it is definitely not worth $60. But...yeah...it isn't like there is that much available on PS3 right now. And it is a PS3 exclusive.

This game was fun. I played it all the way to the end and had fun. The camera is bad, but you have a radar so you always know where the enemies are.

Had some decent platforming parts and basically if you like the Onimusha games you'll like this. It's like the Onimusha games but faster paced.

Costco allows returns on open items including video games? Most stores do not let you return open video games.

Sears pricematch with Costco.com. Just printout the page & take to local SEARS store and get them pricematch it plus extra 10% off off price. You endup paying $27.XX after taxes instead around $35+ after shipping + taxes + 5% fees.

Yup. They're the shiz.

No blood like in the Japanese version. I don't care if it's a small gripe, it still pisses me off.

Wow... I surprised Costco is still allowed to sell video games... Allowing people ot return opened video games is against federal copyright laws...

This backs up the fact that they accept returns on everything:
http://www.costco.com/Service/FeaturePageLeftNav.aspx?ProductNo=11133932#returnanitem

And I've been told by my cousin-in-law (who works in their returns dept) that it is true. I've emailed him again to verify 100%...but I'm quite certain the guarantee applies to games, CDs, and movies.

I highly doubt it is against copyright laws. Do you have any proof?

I now have 100% confirmation that Costco does indeed take returns on any opened video games, CDs, or movies you buy at their store.
