I'm surprised a topic on this doesn't already exist. Really digging the game. The adventure mode will take me a long time to complete. Any advice on good combos with the specials to use? Feel free to add me for high score chasing, my gt is DROPPIN LOADZ.
 
I like this installment, but I don't love it. Too many cheap deaths compared to GW2, collision detection and the like seem much more unforgiving this time around. I'm still playing it...but it's not on the level of the last game IMO.

This is pretty much where I'm at with GW3. I keep thinking "I know it's been a few years since GW2, but has my reaction time slowed down that much?" I was never the guy at the top of the leaderboard, but now I'm having trouble even getting 2 stars on some of the early levels in Adventure mode. Feels like I won't be able to finish it, because I'll run up against an unlock where I just can't get enough stars.

All that said, I am going to stick with it and see if I can improve with practice. Any CAGs, feel free to add me if you want someone to be ahead of on the leaderboards. :)

 
As you level up the firepower and collector power ups it does make some a little easier. I agree getting the stars is gonna be hard. I wish the leaderboards were more visible like in Geometry Wars 2.
 
I'm on the fence with it too.  My son says the co-op is much more fun.

The boss levels are what's driving me nutty. I've been able to get 2 stars on most levels with some difficulty, but the damn boss levels -- and especially doing more than surviving them -- are a massive pain.

Anyway -- feel free to add me also -- I'm on as Dursman 

 
this game isnt that hard. never played the other 2, but the only trophies/cheevos i need are the dumb couch co-op (ps4 share play to the rescue hopefully) ones and the million geomes one.

sniper/turret pretty much destroys every stage. fun game. a few stages im in the top 10 score wise.
