Get Up, you lazy CAG......

CAGiversary!
Greetings all, Let me start out by saying I have a sleeping problem. I am an extremely deep sleeper and do not wake up easily. In fact right now I wake up most mornings to the (5) alarms I have in my room and kitchen alarm. Thats a total of 6, well here lately I have been sleeping through them and getting up late for work. i did some snooping and found an alarm clock for the hearing impaired http://www.activeandable.com/products/169

I am wondering if anyone here has used this or one like it and can tell me how effective it is, specifically the bed shaker.

Well its adjustable to 95db I probably won't set it that high, who knows, but I am really interested in the bed shaker and how effective that is,

One of my friends got an alarm clock like this for her birthday. The vibrating pad definitely scared the shit out of me when I slept over, shove it under your mattress and the whole bed vibrates.

dosent sound like an alarm to me
i could use one of those, my alarm clock never wakes me up
yaeh me too. Most of the time it takes forever for me to wake up. I"m a very deep sleeper. But oncertain days I can for some weird reason wake up an hour before my alarm clock like on Black Friday.

noow i see why you want this alarm clock... tryin to use the whole "deep sleeper" routine to get your bed to vibrate...
I always seem to wake up 2 minutes before my alarm goes off.
When I was in middle school, my dad would call me a few minutes before my alarm went off to make sure I was up. It always pissed me off.

Just out of curiosity, do you get enough sleep? You may be a deep sleeper but if you aren't getting a reasonable amount of sleep that may be your problem.

My dad did this too! It used to piss me off so much!! Once in awhile i would just yell: BE QUIET!!

If you want to pay me, i will drive over and give you a swift kick in the nuts every morning! Painful yes, but good at waking up sleeping people, again, very yes.

This reminds me ... back when I live on campus there was a blind kid on my hall. Cool guy, but apparently his other senses hadn't been sharpened because he never shut his fucking alarm clock off.

I'm legally blind, but I think my other senses have vastly improved, especially my sense of smell. What a gift to be given eh?

Whats wrong with your peepers that your considered legally blind?

Well first off I am somewhat of a night owl but I have always performed better on 4-5 hours sleep then on 5-10. But no matter how much time I sleep, i sleep through anything. When I was younger my pops would come in my room before school and poor a cup of water on my head if I missed my alarm, which was pretty often.
