The real story behind this one, is that, me and this other guy were the only people that bid on the auction. The winning bidder had his bid there ever since the auction started and ended up winning and all my "snipe bids" were futile.

How do i know this, because i was watching the auction the whole time, and thought the winning bidder sniped me, so i sent him a nasty email telling him this...

and he told me he was the hidden bidder all along and his high bid was $76.99

only 10 bucks more and it would have been mine......

*cries for days*



Oh well, at least i found a little comfort in this auction....

i dont know why you think you got sniped as the winning bid was placed on the 16th. If you really want it you just need to snipe a higher amount

I hear ya. The Ghost in the Shell comics are the ones im really gonna miss. GitS full runs of 1, 1.5, and 2 in a complete, mint set like that is gonna be hard to find and hard to beat at that price.



I have discovered through this all the wonderful art shirow has done outside GitS and alot of it is really amazing......he even does hentai!! :O

oh, because he was a "hidden bidder" at first, and you couldnt see all his details.

when the auction ended, the name changed so i thought it was someone else who came at the last minute until i checked the bid history after


oh and i was being too cheap on my snipe bids, i realized as well. i thought his high bid would be $50-$60 at the most, (auction started @ $40) and then we'd just have to compete for it until the end. but he had other plans....
