You asked if you should buy something and he gave you an answer. You didn't ask if it was a good deal.
 
I saw this on slickdeals. I say skip it. 60hz for that size. Just wait alittle bit more unless you really want too. I saw some good deals on plasma being posted on slickdeals. I like how sd channels look good on plasma compared to lcd.
 
I have that model Vizio. It's good for what it is. I will note that the remote isn't very well designed (you can always get a better universal/Harmony remote), there's no PIP (a slight annoyance), and the sound seems to take a split second to initiate when you switch channels (which I imagine will be fixed when I route it through some kind of home theater system one day). There's also a noticeable hum if you ever put the volume down really low, but disappears at moderate levels of volume.

The price is pretty good, and I personally like Vizio quite a bit, so I'd say it's a good deal so long as you aren't a huge video or audiophile.

Thanks for this! Not really a huge video/audiophile, but I do like things to look good. Do blus play well on it?? Also, is there a "gaming mode"? I didn't see it listed in features, but I was hoping it had one anyways. Thanks!
