GOG is running a halloween sale with individual games at 20% or the whole package at 40% off. A short list but some awesome games in here. IMO, this is the only other time other than the Atari sale it's worth it to just buy everything.

Prices go 20% off / 40% off.

GABRIEL KNIGHT: SINS OF THE FATHERS - $3.59 / $4.79

GABRIEL KNIGHT 2: THE BEAST WITHIN - $3.59 / $4.79

GABRIEL KNIGHT 3: BLOOD OF THE SACRED, BLOOD OF THE DAMNED - $3.59 / $4.79

PHANTASMAGORIA - $5.99 / $7.99

PHANTASMAGORIA 2 - $3.59 / $4.79

VAMPIRE THE MASQUERADE - REDEMPTION - $3.59 / $4.79

To be honest, both Phantasmagoria games are bad. I have the first one and borrowed and played the second one. Neither one is in the same class as the Gabriel Knight games or the Vampire The Masquerade game. What GOG needed to do for Halloween was release the second VTM game, Bloodlines. I'd jump all over that one.

Otherwise, get everything else that's being offered here.

IMO, Phantasmagoria 2 is right up there with Deadly Premonition as one of those games that's so unintentionally bad that it's actually pretty hilarious ;)

I don't know about Phantasmagoria 1, but for me, removing it from the bundle lowered the price by a cent, haha.

Whole package stuff is getting old. They need to do more normal sales.
I loved VTM Redemption back in the day. I got it in 99 or whenever it came out.

Wow, the regular price for each Gabriel Knight is $6 each? You'd be crazy not to get them all, even without the 20% discount.

Thanks for the heads up. I already owned phantasmagoria 1 and 2 and they got it setup since I already owned them they counted it as part of the deal which is cool of them to do, allow games I already bought to be in the deal retroactively.

I was going to get gabriel knight 1-3 and its actually a penny cheaper if I get vampire also. I didnt really want it but hell, they are paying me a penny to get it also hehe.

They are still good in their own way though. They have a certain charm to them and feel that you will not ever find in a game again. Its one of those games thats fun to sit up and play late at night when everything is quiet and all you hear is the crickets outside and sitting in the glow of your monitor.

They might not be very good games but they are still better than every not so good game released today.

And they will probablly release WTM at some point but that game is so damn buggy and has performance issues they are probablly afraid to release it. Hell there is a independant guy who was patching the game himself all the way up to like 50 versions and he did it for years and was still squishing bugs.

I just finished playing through VTM Bloodlines with the most recent unofficial patch. Even though it still had some weird bugs there wasn't anything which made the game unplayable. I'm suprised none of the distributors have it as part of their halloween specials.
What is GOG? Is it downloads or actual CD roms?
...that are reprogrammed to work perfectly on XP, Vista, and 7.

3.50 is w/in my buying price for Bloodlines... sadly 4.79 is not. It's mostly a nostalgia game for me I'll probably never play it.

EDIT: oh yea I meant to post about how I hate the way gog is doing their sales now.
