As part of their 48 hr Madness Sale.
Next closest I saw was at Amazon for $12.99. You could probably do worse for a WW2 shooter, even though this is a 3+ yr old game. saw a few 360 games on sale, but nothing eye popping. Last time I checked, shipping was $3

Yeah, VP is $20 regularly. I'm guessing some places might have it on clearance for $10 or less, but I'd rather just pay the $15 or so and not bother trying to find a cheaper copy.
Viva Pinata for $10 - around $13-14 with shipping and tax looks somewhat decent.

That retails for $20 + tax everywhere else right?
price seems fair considering it sells used $17.99 @ gamestop which for the most part i find is a good indicator of the average retail price of games

Brothers in Arms is such a great game! Medal of Honor and Call of Duty may have the jaw-dropping moments and high adventure, but Brothers in Arms feels like a more authentic experience in both gameplay and story. It has unique characters that remain a constant throughout the story, and the action consists mainly of strings of short, strategic firefights that rely heavily on flanking --which includes commanding and feeling responsible for an entire squad-- rather than run-n-gun thrills. Sometimes when I've cleared an area, I retrace my steps and I'm surprised to see how hard I fought for mere yards! Suffice it to say I think Brothers in Arms is a must-buy at under $6, even if it is a last-gen game by now.

Viva Pinata for $10 and Heroes of Might and Magic for $8? Hmm, might have to pick up those two, would come to just over $20 shipped.

Oh, and they also have Shadowrun again for $5.90 (I think $1 more than it was last time). It comes with a 1-month Gold trial subscription, which normally goes for $6.99 on it's own. So it's actually cheaper to get Shadowrun instead and you'll get a game (albeit a lackluster one that requires vista) with it for free.

Brothers in Arms: Road To Hill 30 DVD Edition
See, this is why we need Blu-ray. 30 discs?! Unbelievable, I tell you!

Oh, in for Viva Pinata. Thanks! Too bad I already got Blood Money from the $8 Newegg sale.

LOL.

GoGamers combined shipping is great, around $1 a game if you buy around 5+. But they sell a lot of EU packaged stuff, sometimes without mentioning it in the description. I bought the Morrowind GOY edition, and got the flimsy UK DVD case with no manual. For the price I paid I couldn't really complain, but I was a little disappointed.

Ninety Nine Nights is a good game and that is a very fair price for it. I already have or else I would pounce on that.
HoMM 5 for that price is a steal IMO ($7.99 on sale ATM). I'm sure you can find the expansions cheap somewhere too...
I picked up HOMM a few weeks back during the CC PC sale it is a great game. Some Targets have the expansions on clearance. I picked up both for between $5 and $7 last week!

I got Heritage of Kings a year ago at a Target clearance for 5.98. Ok game. REAL SLOW dialogues but decent RTS gameplay. Upgrades max out EARLY though and gets repetitive quick. I almost think its not worth it at this price, maybe a week's worth of casual gameplay.

I selling a mint copy of Gears of War (360) that I bought only a month ago (I have the receipt to prove it) for 30 shipped, by the by. Just tossing that out there.

*flees*
nooooooooooooooooooooo viva pinata is OOS ;_:

*sad panda*
ditto :( Wish I figured out earlier that I wanted to get it.

Damn viva pinata OOS!!!!! NOOOOOO

Edit: Also saw Halo 3 Legendary edition for $70 if anyone is interested

Thanks Op! In for 99 Nights!

Edit: No!!! 99 Nights is OOS also. Hopefully It'll be back in stock before the sale is over.
Might want to add that Silent Hunter 3 has Starforce on it.

Brothers in Arms Earned in Blood has starforce. Im not sure about Road to Hill 30
I can vouch that Silent Hunter 3 does indeed have Starforce, I own it. Too bad it does, it's a great game.

I'd been looking and since it'd platinum hits it's probably not going to be any cheaper really.

That's a phenomenal price on Heroes of Might and Magic 5-but how does it compare to the earlier games? It's a different developer, and it's 3D.

Still, for that price I'll pick it and I guess Blood Money up. Can't believe how good GoGamer's prices are!

I think one of their latest patches removes Starforce.
I think one of their latest patches removes Starforce.
as far as i know it removes the starforce check from the game launch, it doesnt remove Starforce. Thats also a really aggressive version of starforce so its use at your own risk.

HoMM 5 is like an updated version of 3, with 3D graphics and differences here and there, but the core gameplay is the same. Your hero isn't on the battlefield like in 4, but he does have his own turn to attack enemy units and such from the sidelines.

Oh ok. Thanks for the clarification.
Digital Satan. And beware his buddy, Securom, aka Digital Beelzebub.
And their hell hound, GameGuard.

Sweet, i got in for Viva Pinata before it went OOS, and i also picked up HOMM 5, which i am freaking excited about! From the reviews i read, it's exactly what fans of the series would want from the game. Or at least closer to their desires. So if you enjoy the franchise, you can't really go wrong with $7.99 for this one :)
