I will probably end up contacting him. I shot an email to CS on Tuesday I believe, and I wanted to give them a couple of days to look into it before I contacted them further.

Edit: I sent him a message, hopefully it will get cleared up.
 
Just received my black ops from the 40% code deal and my god its scratched up it literally looks like some took a key and scratched the front and back. Am really annoyed considering I know some lazy employee looked at the condition of the disc and still mailed it out. I guess this is what I get for ordering a used game not from amazon warehouse.
 
I`m eager to hear from the people that ordered previously viewed games in this sale. I held onto my coupon, and I don't have that much faith in the used items that I want coming back at old prices (AC Brotherhood, RDR, Gran Turismo.) I haven't bought a PV game before, so i`m kind of leery.But I guess that's what I get for holding onto my coupon instead of scooping up used titles.

Funny, I get damaged stuff from Amazon all the time...but that's besides the point isn't it?

Is your solution to the problem to assume they know of the problem and it will resolve itself or do you think contacting the Rep will help as it has others?

It's been stated numerous times and shown that they are more than willing to help...
 
Is anybody knows for sure if the code applies to gaming accessories (comtrollers, headset etc.) or only for games? Thanks in advance I tried tio read the thread but is too long

I received 2 of the 4 games on my order from Monday today in the mail. ( Smash Bros Brawl and Mario Hoops 3 on 3). Both complete and mint for the most part.( except for tiny punctures on the back cover of the cases)

Now to await the status of my other 2 games because I haven't received a shipping confirmation or a cancellation e-mail yet which I find odd since I already received some of the games.
 
rep cleared up my issue within 12 hrs of contacting. Another happy customer :) . Apparently the 3 extra charges were just authorization, which is unusual but as long as they don't clear I don't care.

Sorry gohastings guy if I caused a bunch of others to pester you regarding the charges :p
 
I got 2 of my 4 games today. I am absolutely amazed with gohastings right now. I got Killzone 3 that looked brand new, and came with an unused socom 4 beta, too bad it is WAY too late for that. It also came with a receipt from the guy who bought it new. It is funny how he paid $65 for it and I only paid $22.

I also got Final Fantasy X and it is absolutely flawless. It is the original non greatest hits as well. I am amazed. I thought final fantasy x would absolutely be beat to hell. But gohastings does it again. Here is hoping the rest of my games are in as good of shape!

Edit: I forgot to say that they also got here very quickly. I ordered kinda later on Monday and I didn't get the conformation until the 20th. Today is the 21st. That is as fast as amazon prime shipping. Really amazed with that.

Bar-none, the GoHastings CAG Representative is one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had! I'm very impressed on how they handled my order. Through that experience alone I will be shopping there again. And it's rare that I give out solid recommendations ever.

are you seriously comparing amazon to gohastings? i like gohastings and their used games sales are awesome, but you can't deny that they screw up a lot of orders. i have ordered stuff on amazon close to 50 times in the past year and have had a problem maybe once (probably not even). i ordered from goHastings 3 times this year and i have had problems 2 of those 3 times (canceled orders). too bad their wonderful customer service can't do anything about canceled orders... wonder why they can't put the order on hold til they get another copy in stock.

sorry about the rant, im a little bitter cuz the last two times i shopped here, my orders have been canceled.
 
All three of my games shipped today, each with its own tracking number.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 - $13.67
Mass Effect 2 PS3 - $20.91
God of War III - $9.42

The first two games were OOS about an hour after the code went live, but they came back in stock on Tuesday (with no price hike). To those hoping some games come back in stock, keep on checking.

Now I've played or have played just about every game I had a major interest in. I should be good until November when tons of games come out. Feels good man.

Most likely this is because it is an age restricted title and you have not clicked the box that says "I am at least 17 years of age."

Otherwise, give me a specific title and format and I'll see if I can find out why the promotion won't apply. It should be everything but a data issue can prevent it from applying.

Since i missed the EA flash deal i decided to pick up NFS Hot Pursuit for 17 bucks. Never ordered from goHastings before so i hope the game isn't to beat up.

Second this. John, the hasting rep, helped me a lot. I am the guy whose LA Noire got cancelled. It turned out my credit card expired by the time LA Noire was on street. But the Hasting customer service told me it was due to insufficient stock when I asked them. John just helped me straight this thing out and sent me a $20 gift card. I am very happy with this and will continue to buy stuff from them.

Suggest, if you have any problems with the orders, I highly recommend to shot a private message to him and this is much more efficient than customer service. He is the Kmart Josh in Hastings.
 
Game 1 of 6 that I ordered on Monday arrived today, and in excellent shape. I hope this is a sign of good things to come with the other 5!

well some of the games i tried were shadows of damnation, LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean, and batmen game of the year and lego pirates was the only one showing a discount and yes i clicked on the over 17 box

I can confirm his when it was in stock, Shadow of the damned did not take off the discount. I had 2 games in cart, prototype and shadow. It took off prototype but not shadow.

Well my tracking number finally showed the package was picked up...it only took 2 days since I received the shipping confirmation. Won't get here until Monday. Oh well one week is not bad as long as they are in good shape.
 
I seriously doubt gohastings' stock of Mortal Kombat warrants a ridiculous $57+ price tag. Only way it would make sense is that they're inflating the price due to the 40% off coupon, and that's after they claimed they'd do no such thing.

I would gladly give my code away but gohastings never sent mine, I got the email for entering the $100 giftcard contest, but not for this code (and yes, I was sure to put my email in for both and entered both - weird) oh well.

Generally their prices go back up to either regular price or close to regular price if either inventory is low or it's OOS completely. It was OOS as of a day or so ago.

The dsi xl I ordered shipped today along with 3 games. I did get two cancellations for games yesterday. I hope the dsi is in good condition. At my local store they are extremely picky on what they will take for trade.

When ordering a used Xbox Live messenger kit, what's the likelihood of it coming with an unused code for 12 months of Xbox Live and 400 MSP.

Will the chatpad and headset be the only things used or will everything be used?

I just have to ask, how are you getting a tracking number? I have only Standard shipping on my previous orders, do they provide a tracking number on expedited shipping or what?

OT: Thinking of picking up TDU2. Used at $8.61 is a pretty good deal IMO.
