I'm fairly sure all of us who browse this forum have played Goldeneye 007 for the N64. One of the best FPS ever made, at the time it blew anything else on consoles away and set the standards for the genre.

One reason its replay value is so high is because of the difficulty when playing levels on 00 Agent or DLTK.

The pic is from bunker 1 but the second time around when you are in Prison is super hard. There are tons of guards and ammo is limited. What I love about this level is that you can play it stealth using throwing knifes or just blast your way out. I just played the level now and died, killing 56 guards in 3:31.

All the guards are armed with Uzis, AR15s, Super Shotguns or the best weapon in the game, RCP-90s. The also have a high amount of health or body armor. This level is such a bitch on 007, especially the very end when fighting off gaurds from behind, gaurds in front, and drone guns.

All I gotta say is I hate this f@#$%*! level. Killing Trevelyan is very fulfilling though.

What say you CAG?

Peaking around corners to kill guys was one of the main things I did to help me survive the hardest difficulty.

I remember the Cradle being one of (or probably) the hardest level and when I beat it Trevelyan got stuck and because of this was done in much easier :D What scares me most is that my fast time that was gotten thanks to a glitch was bested by a decent margin when I looked it up one day to see how it compares to the best times I could find online.

My roommate in college had this game, but I played it quite a bit. I beat all but the hardest difficulty setting. I had made it to the missile silo level before I graduated and moved on. I have since purchased the game, but I didn't feel like starting over with a new save.

Still, fond memories of the game overall, and we played lots of 4P deathmatch in college. It was the only game we played more than Mario Kart 64.
