I recently went over my collection of games to get the sticker off the cases. I used Goo Gone and all was fine until I looked at the games about a day later. The case clear wrap around has turned all wavy/bumpy on all the cases I used it on. I was wondering why this happened because Goo Gone doesn't seem like it would do that and also can I undo it.

And if i can't undo where can I buy some new cases.

i did that once because i pushed down too hard on the area with holes on them. You know where the clips are at. I usually dont have problems on any other areas. You just got to put some cardboard behind it or be more gentle.

I know at times it is time consuming, but you can get sticker residue off just using tape. Thats how I usually do it, then just take a wet paper towel, wipe the case down and dry it off.

I didn't apply any force, that isnt it. I tend to drop some on the sticker and let is sit for a minute then I peel it off. The areas look like water rippling sort of and they are over the sticker area. It just messed up the plastic covering not the insert or the case plastic it self.

Wow, that's unfortunate. I use Goo Gone all the time at work and I can't say I've had that happen on even a rare occasion.

Its not the goo gone by itself but more so the amount of pressure used to take the price sticker off. Ive messed up a few xbox and ps2 cases trying to get old stuck on price stickers off, I finally broke down and bought a hair dryer for that sole purpose. It is an excellent alternative to removing price stickers.

Did you clean the Goo Gone off the plastic after you removed the sticker really well or did some residue probably stay on it? Not sure if that would cause the plastic to ripple, but I'm always pretty careful to try to clean up any leftover Goo after I'm done my business. Learned my lesson on that one from this guy:

I tried to wipe it all off but I am sure there was a bit left. Any way since I suppose there is no way to fix this I will ask this : Where can I but new PS2 cases? For the best price?

Don't use Goo Gone for plastic (hard OR soft). It's too corrosive. Use lighter fluid (I'm serious)... once it dries you can't even tell it was there. It even works on glossier paper (such as book covers).
I had been using WD40 to remove stickers but I'll have to give the hair dryer idea a try.
As do I. It's just getting the sticker off initially that's a pain in the ass. I don't typically get many indentations, but I get a few tiny holes from my finger nail digging too hard into the plastic.

I've used Goo Gone to get the stickers off and then sprayed the cases with Windex and cleaned them as soon as the stickers were off. I have had zero problems with damaged cases, warped plastic or anything else.

I'd also recommend taking out the directions and game cover/insert until it's done. No sense in ruining the printing with that stuff.
