I stopped by the Super Wal-Mart on White Horse Road in Greenville, S.C. and found a good many items on clearance. I know Wal-mart deals are very YMMV, but I figured somebody else in the area might see this and get in on it. Not all clearance prices are "deals" but some are great. I'm including everything that was red-tagged that I wrote down.

Xbox

Alias - $7
Close Combat: First to Fight - $19
Gungriffon -$12
LOTR: TTT -$4
NHL 05 -$8
Phantasy Star Online -$11
SSX 3 -$5
SSX Tricky -$5
Super Monkey Ball Deluxe -$10
Tom Clancy 3-pack -$12

GC

1080 Avalanch -$8
NFS UG2 -$19

PS2

Musashi: Samurai Legend -$20
Robots -$20

GBA

All GBA Vids -$4
Ace Combat Advance -$6
Cabela's Hunting Game -$4
F-Zero GP Legend -$6
Golden Nugget Casino -$3
Texas Holdem Poker-$3
Yu Yu Hashiko (sp?) -$4

I picked up SSX3 and SMB DX for Xbox, and F-Zero, Texas Holdem, and Golden Nugget for GBA, and 1080 for GC.

I have never once seen a clearance on video games at any of the 7 Wal-Marts in my area. A road trip is coming up next week though so maybe I can find something along the small towns. *fingers crossed*

My walmart had these games in a glass case all marked for 20.00 There was so many in their that you couldn't even see what they had. Last night they were taking them all out of that case to make room for psp games. Might have to make a stop at wally world again today. I could use lotr ttt for 4.00!

Have not seen any clearance games in the Camden, SC Walmart in some time. I check now and then. Last clearance was on the Donkey Kong game. Lowest it got was $35 bucks before they were all swiped.

My local Walmart stores are always a completely disorganized mess, completely understaffed and yet crowded with customers despite all of this. I've never found any clearance games at Walmart, and given how poorly organized they are I doubt I ever will.

Thanks OP. I'm a new Greenville resident, formerly of Atlanta. Nice to see some other folks from around town on here.

Were those two the only GCN titles you saw?
Wow, monkey ball for 10 is a pretty good deal.
Yea it is. Gotta love balls w/ monkeys in 'em especially for $10.00. I'm even tempted to go see if they have the dreadfully awful NHL '05 which I couldn't stand the first time but I love me some hockey. Maybe it wasn't as bad as I remember.

Yes, Unfortunately.

This is the first time I'd ever been to this particular Wal-Mart. I don't know how new it is but it seemed rather new. If it is not new, then it is the best maintained and cleanest Wal-Mart I've ever been in. The game section was very organized, neat, and tidy.

I don't think it's very new. They may have remodelled or something, but that store has been there awhile. I can tell you that it is in a bad part of town too. Anyway, thanks for the heads-up. Those prices are even better than the clearance prices that the one in Dorman Center (Westgate) in Spartanburg, SC has on games right now.
