Good DS games, need a little help.

My 360 has just died and is on its way to be fixed. I have a DS and I only have 1 game and looking for a new one.

I am looking at Madden 08 and wondering about some of the features.
1) Character creation
2) Can I use the CAP in franchise
3) How much is included
4) How well does it match up to the console version.

I am looking for a good RPG and if you got a game in mind, give me some details.
Here is what I enjoy most of any RPG.
1) Character creation
2) Character progression

If there is anyother sports games please list them, I enjoy all sport gaming.

I don't know about Madden for DS, but I'm really big on RPGs.

My favorite DS RPG is Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker. It's character customization is pretty deep and it feels a little more polished and focused than Pokemon. The main hook is a really fun mechanic to manipulate; you fuse your captured monsters together into a single stronger monster and choose your favorite abilities from the two. As far as NUMBERS-GO-UP-focused gameplay goes, it's a blast! The game is however *incredibly* Japanese, so if you can't look past the cutesy Dragon Ball crap, it might not be for you.

i loved Joker 1 trillon times more then pokemon. Probally cause there are what 15 pokermon games compair to 2 other Dragon quest monsters.

also Joker has alot more replay then pokmon

pokemon you get your 5 starter pokmeon and keep playing them them BLEH

JOKER you need to do massive breeding to get the top monsters.

Pokemon pearl i can beat in around 3o to 40 hours tops.

joker im 59 hours into the game and still at least another 20 to 30 hours away from getting the 4 most powerful monsters

joker all the way and after 5 buck gift card its only 24.99 at Best buy this week
