Good GBA golf games

I was wondering what are some good golf games for the GBA. I just bought Final Round 2002 off ebay for a few bucks, but I want something that's really good, not just mediocre like Final Round seems to be.

Mario Golf: Advance Tour is coming out soon I think. Other than that, I got nothing for even halfway decent handheld golf.

I'm interested in what Mario Golf GBA will be like. It's supposed to be golf + RPG elements. I like both, so ...

Yeah, now that you mention it, I remember reading a bit about it in a magazine. It looks pretty good, and it seems that whatever Nintendo touches is gold, so maybe I should wait for this.

I dunno if this means anything too yall but IGN had it rated as either the highest or one of the highest rated GBA games out there

GA:

ESPN isn't mediocre, it's a great golf game, with a lot of depth in unlocking courses. Give it a chance a play for a while, it grew on me after seemingly the same way. Personally, I like the control scheme that's like Neo Turf Masters as well, and with a GBA game you really aren't likely to get a Links/Golden Tee/Tiger Woods console model control as well.

Give it some time, you'll find it to be more than worth it.

Well, that's cool then. Just from the number of reviews I read, they all pretty much said it was an okay game, but I'll definitely play the hell outta it.

No - HSG is made by a Sony second party (I think). It is supposed to be available at launch of the PSP (HSG Gold)...

Mario Golf for Gameboy color is a great game. If the new one on GBA is half as good as Mario Golf it will be in my collection.

I would wait for Mario Golf: Advance Tour. It's due out next Tuesday, and I'd be willing to wager that a few weekly ads will have this next week for 24.99. Most reviews I have seen for this game have been pretty good 9.5/10 from IGN (85 total score from Metacritic).

If you can't wait, I'd pick up a used copy of GBC Mario Golf. A very good game, IGN gave that one a perfect score.

final round is amazing! i played that game for a good month or 2 after i got it. its alot of fun, and you can save at any point in the game and continue it later, a must for a portable golf game

yeah the save feature HAS to be in MG:AT, otherwise I'll stick with espn.

Yeah, Best Buy is the place to get it this week. Will it be worth $20? I wish you could rent GBA games. Well, if it retails for $30 it probably trade for $12-$15 at EB if I really hated it...

you guys are rall crazy. Tiger woods 2004 (has to be the 2004 version) is completely amazing. it is very similiar to the console version. To swing the club you pull bac on the pad and then push forward, none of that button mashing crap. It is fantastic.

Isn't that kinda watered down on a digital pad, though? It seems like the whole reason that works well on the consoles is the analog sticks.
amazingly bad.

amirite?

EA sucks.
NO YOUR WRONG. it really is a fantastic game. I love the console version and this is a very nice complement on the GBA. You can control the spin of ball and so much more. It is the only golf game to play on the gba. and EA does not suck, what kind of coment is that?

it is really not that bad, considering the alternative. I hate those power meters..makes me feel like I am atempting to punt the ball, not swing a club.
