My girlfriend's coming to visit on Friday, so I started doing some housecleaning (she's going to college in Knox-town, and we don't get to see each other too often). I'd been out of space on all my bookshelves for a while and had been doubling up on stuff - books in front of books, games in front of books, games in front of more games - so I decided to go out and grab another set of shelves to kind of take some of the burden. While doing so I also felt the urge to add to the problem and go shopping.
I found a first-printrun copy of Neal Stephenson's Cryptonomicon at a local bookstore for $7, which made me happy. Then I hit up Game Crazy, just on a whim. Whereupon I found a pristine disc-only copy of Suikoden II for $25. The hell? Twenty-five bucks? Mine.
Today I went out again and scored Prince of Persia 2 for the SNES for $10, and a dogbone NES controller for $3.
And my Outpost.com copy of DDS came in today! Woo!
