Goozex Q

I'm pretty new to Goozex.
On their mailer and label they have the return address as some Goozex place.
So if something is messed up and they have to return it. It would go to them.
So what happens to your game?

dont use the mailer...ur game gets "mysteriously" lost alot
So Goozex just takes your games?
Should I just use my own envelope with my own return address?
Yep. I use bubble mailers and just put my own address as the return one.

yea that too and a lot of times the reciever of teh game steals the games since there is no way to track it if it got delivered to his house or not. remember, just because u are a honest person, doesnt mean the person on the other end is...so use ur own mailer and use DC
So after they're lost do you get your points and does the person who doesn't receive the game get their points back?
they get their points back easy but u have to fight for it

Have you had experience with stuff like that.
I just sent Wii Sports on the 11th, and they still haven't received it. I used the mailer with it.
It isn't that big of a deal, 'cause I only used it like the first 3 days I got my Wii, and haven't touched it since.
But it's worth some decent points. And I sure wouldn't mind getting them.
How would I go towards getting them, and how long will I wait till I can?

The Goozex customer service is pretty good, it's helped me out several time already. When you have questions, you'll probably get more answers from the Goozex forums, where there are loads of helpful posters, and uber-Mods (not counting me, I'm a Newbie Mod).

If a game for some reason is sent to Goozex, you can rest assured that you will receive the points for your game. If it's a mistake on the buyer's part (ie, incorrect address), you can't be held responsible.

As for how to ship games, I wouldn't suggest using the printable Goozex mailer, as it is flimsy, and games have been know to be damaged in them. Instead, you should use a bubbler mailer, and use delivery confirmation so in the UNLIKELY case (I have sent out more than 60 games, as you can see in my sig, and no one has ever tried this with me),that someone tries to cheat you out of points by saying they never received the game, you have proof otherwise.

Anyway, you should be patient with getting positive feedback, as shipping can take a bit, especially with the long weekend. Also, many users like to test out their games before leaving positive feedback, to make sure they work. The buyer has up to 21 days to leave feedback, so there's still plenty of time. Also, you only have to wait for feedback to get your points for your first couple of trades. Once you get a feedback score of 20 (which takes about 2-3 trades), you get your points right when you accept the trade.

If you need any more Goozex help, you should swing by the forums, there's a link on the main page. I'm there all the time, so I'll be able to help you out. I just found this thread by accident, heh.

I'd love to go on the goozex forums, but when I try I get:

I e-mailed [email protected] yesterday, no reply yet though. Do you have any suggestions?

Well, of course I have an answer. You just, uhhh... well, you need to... errr... Lemme go check on that for you. >.< I signed up months ago, but maybe there was an activation link in the email you received upon registering your account? Meanwhile, I'll ask around.

Ok thanks.

Well I just tried to change my e-mail address back to the original.
I got a link to confirm my account, but I get the same message.

I was talking with one of the founders of Goozex (another plus about Goozex, that the head honchos are personalities on the forums), and I mentioned your issue. I received this reply:

"i don't see anything wrong with that guy's account. It works fine on my end...ask him to try a different browser to see if the problem still happens"

In the view my profile part of Goozex, there's a button that says view forum profile.
I pressed it and said "The User Never Logged Into The Goozex Community -- The Community Profile For This User Doesn't Exist."

Hi tr1pl3thre3at,

This is Mark (aka Blackcoyote on the Goozex forums & Goozex team member) -- SMX sent me details about your problem and I wanted to be clear on where you are seeing an issue. Is it when you try to log into Goozex.com or when you try to access our forums?

You can PM me here with your response.

***UPDATE***
I see the problem and am looking into it for a solution.

I have a question about Goozex. I have Ratchet and Clank available for PS3. It says the game is requested in all three categories, yet it still says I have 45 turns to go....what gives?

45 turns are the people that have the game on hand before you, but NOT available. Once you list it, it will get immediately accepted.

I'm still trying to resolve my situation in which my account was disabled. I PMed Goozex (BlackCoyote) on here and I also sent an email to help[at]goozex.com If any member here can help, it would be appreciated.

That's the thing, I listed it last night and it said 46, and tonight it says 45....Folklore and Ninja Gaiden got immediately accepted. Suffice to say, I think Goozex has an extremely clunky, confusing interface.

I got used to it. It's not very "new user" friendly. Takes time to adjust.

I still want to get my ban resolved, as I already know the reason why, and it was my foolish brother. I would love to have it resolved, but they have poor communication with users via email.

It's really not all that confusing. If you go to the game page, and click on trading info, you can see in depth info on who wants/has a certain game, and who is ready to trade for it, and who has the game on hold. I've never had a problem with the trading system.

As for FeNoM, what happened?
