Fellow Caggers, I've recently purchased Gears of War 2 used and I was wondering if anyone could give me a spare code for the Flashback map pack.

I know I can buy it on the marketplace, but if anyone has a spare one and wouldn't mind giving it out then I don't see the problem with that.

Honestly its not going to happen. You dont just have one of those laying around much less cheapass is not freeass. What is with all of a sudden people asking for everything free...points, codes, demo access, beta access, etc. its getting a bit ridiculous. Just pony up and pay the 400 pts. if you want it. You paid less than retail since you bought it used which is exactly what epic was trying to "punish" you for. Atleast they made it available for sale at all.

If you have a family video nearby try stopping by there and checking in the cases for a code. My family video had about 7 copies of GoW2 and they have the code in all the boxes still. I don't know if other places (blockbuster / hollywood video) do the same but you could check.

Don't be a dick and do this. You're cheating someone else out of the code.
 
Even if I had a code, I wouldn't consider giving it to you because you pretty much just assumed we're fucking retarded.

It's like asking a stranger for $5. Seriously, $5? Maybe if you asked for a quarter or cheeseburger or something I'd bite, but $5? Jackass.
 
Damn people...he asked nicely and didn't respond back to anyone like a dick...why not just ignore the topic and move on? There's people on a constant basis giving away random items for free here; he simply took initiative and asked in a polite manner...
 
I agree with the "don't be a dick and STEAL the code from the video store" statements. Cause, ya know, that is a dick thing to do. That's like saying "X game has 1 month codes free in them! Go to Blockbuster and take it from the case!" That is STEALING.
 
I dont find anything wrong with posting this, honestly, people are asking for a lot more at the "Ask for Free Stuff" Thread. However, I do find it annoying when people do post in the Contest and Free Stuff Forum and ask for items for their own self interests, when the purpose of this forum is to create topics related to free offers that should benifit the community. This topic should be closed, and the OP should post there instead.
