Gp2x

I have one, its a pretty neat little system, runs a version of Linux, has a decent hombrew scene. If your looking for emulators for it just know that currently the only two that play at full speed are the GB Color and Mega Drive emulators. Snes is slow and NES runs too fast. It's pretty good for movies on it, I used to use it to watch 24 while I was at work, but just know the battery life is about 2 hours when watching a movie due to the high CPU usage. If you have some spare rechargabe AA's you'll be fine. The screen on it is OK, it's no PSP screen, but it doesn't look bad. If you have any more quetions or ur want some pics, feel free to ask.

I dont really have too many questions, I was curious about it overall. Id never seen them before. you think its worth the price? is there a site youd reccomend that has some game info?
do you have the devloper kit that they have listed also? whats that like?

Any info you have that would convince me to get one would be appreciated.

You'd be better off getting a PSP IMO. The controls are lacking, it runs on AA batteries, and the dev scene for it isn't that great.

I had one from day one and have since sold mine.

The homebrew scene was really slow in getting it going and I was using my DS way more than my GP2X. It eventually got to the point where it was just collecting dust so I had to get rid of it.

The newer revisions are cheaper and supposedly have a better control pad, though.

I already have a psp, but i dont really want to run emulators. i cant on the psp with updated firmware anyway right?
i just want a new toy, and this seems like it would be right at home next to the ds, and psp.
